Chapter 7

Shay's POV

"You are horrible!" I manage to say over the bumpiness of the dirt road we drove on.
Grey laughed in agreement, while Zach sat there smirking.
"Zach?" I turned to him as he did the same.
"Yeah?" He said looking into my eyes.
"I-"
"Faster!" Grey suddenly yelled and pointed to the rear view mirror causing Zach and I to look too.

"Oh. My. God." In the mirror were (give or take) a hundred Pterodactyls flying in our direction.

Zach's POV

"Zach step on it" Shay said turning pale.
"Ok ok." I pressed my foot harder on the gas.
"Watch out some of the rocks might be sharp!"
"Ok, stop backseat driving!" I yelled back, making her stop and turn away to look at the pterodactyls.
"Actually there aren't any backseats in the car you know-" Grey began before Shay put a finger to his lips and they watched the pterodactyls.

Only a minute passed before we saw a gate with two guards sanding at the top.
"Open the gate!" Shay yelled as did Grey and I. They just stood there until they noticed the situation and quickly opened the gate.

Shay's POV

Once we were inside we got out of the car and ran to the Main Street where hundreds of guests were running for their lives from swooping Pterodactyls.

I here someone telling and turn around to see Zara running over to us.
"Where have you been?" She yelled at us in the middle of all this chaos.
"I would've lost my jobs because of you three brats!" Her now messed up hair bouncing with every word.
I was about to say something when an alarm went off repeating that all guests must take shelter because of dinosaurs out of containment.

The pterodactyls weren't only swooping down into the crowd but they were now picking guests up and dropping them to the ground.
We run away doing our best to dodge screwing guests and swooping pterodactyls.

"Stop! Stop running!" Zara calls from behind. We stop and listen to her for the first time today and look around at what was once a beautiful street filled with joy and excitement.

Zara catches up and stands a couple feet away from us.
"Don't just stand there!" She yells as she begins to march over to us when a pterodactyl lifts her up into the air. It manurers itself through the other dinosaurs with guests in their mouths and flys toward the Mosasaurus tank.
We run over following the pterodactyl when two more come out of nowhere and try to take Zara from the other dinosaur, causing it to drop her with the three of them diving after her. We watch as they dive into the water and seconds later one slowly flys out of the water with Zara in its mouth screaming her head off. Suddenly the Mosasaurus jumps out of the tanks and clamps its mouth shut eating both the Pterodactyl and Zara.
Guilt rises within me but suddenly decreases when I hear someone calling our names.
"Zach! Shay! Grey!" We turn around and see Aunt Claire running toward us.

"Run!" I yell as I turn around to see a pterodactyl swooping down toward the three of us. We jump down to the ground as it misses and crashes into a hotdog stand. We army crawl over to the wall when another crashes down and Zach reaches his arm out to hold me back as its beak almost touches my chest. We slowly get up and it doesn't do anything as it is still knocked out from the crash. I see Owen on the ground trying to wrestle one down when Aunt Claire picks up a gun and shoots it dead.
"Is that Aunt Claire?" Zach openly asks as she helps Owen up. We slowly walk over to her when Owen crashes his lips onto hers in a deep kiss, making us stop dead in our tracks.

AUTHORS NOTE: Mexico was so fun and I loved seeing my cousins and my 18 year old cousin Adrian and his rising band. They're were really good:D

I'm going to try to update tomorrow and if you guys want to read it... I'm planning to make a sequel!!! I'll make an epilogue a month or two into the future and I've got an exciting idea for a sequel!!!
