Such a long story, finally finished! So this story is supposed to be part of a big series. Each book would be exploring the point of view of a different clan and different set of POV characters and it would be like a big overarching anthology thing. The Darkened Moon is only the first, and it's from the view of Power Clan. The series would be something like this:
The Darkened Moon (Power Clan)
The Golden Forest (Clever Clan)
Blood Red Mountains (Leap Clan)
The White River (Swift Clan)
Long Black Shadows (Stealth Clan)
The Silver Plains (Cunning Clan)
The Rising Sun (Agile Clan)
There are also a ton of secrets left to be uncovered in this world, like how the animals are the way they are, why monsters and 'mythical' creatures exist, why the animals can use tools and communicate through language, how the cats and dogs are similar in size and strength, why they are so obsessed with fighting, and how the Wastelands got to be the way they are. (hint: humans used to exist in the world, but no longer do...). Maybe I'll do that eventually idk, but right now I just want to relax lol
