Daniel
After a few more days everyone had mellowed out again and it actually seemed fairly normal for once. For the most part no one was skittish or tense (except for Seamus who always seemed on edge no matter what) which made it possible to work efficiently again.
"Dan.", Jordan hisses as he pokes his head into my office. I glance up at him with furrowed eyebrows.
"Yeah?"
"Something happened."
"What did you break another camera?", I ask referring to how he'd attempted to fix a camera but completely broke it instead.
"I wish I only broke a camera...it claimed another victim.", he says in a low voice. I watch as he steps inside my office careful not to be too loud.
"What do you mean Jordan?", I ask dead serious.
We'd drifted out of the territory of funny or accidents into something dead serious. I can only presume it was blurryface again, what else would it be at this point?
"I just got a call from Dex's sobbing and terrified girlfriend. She said she was going to take him out for breakfast and expected to find him passed out with bottles of alcohol next to his bed, apparently he's been drinking a lot, and instead she found him with his throat slit in a pool of his own blood.", Jordan states.
My eyes widen as Jordan keeps his glued to the floor almost fearfully.
"Blurryface got him...", I trail off not knowing where my sentence. My mind keep distracting me with grim images of Dex lying in a pool of scarlet mouth agape prohibiting me from coming up with any logical sentences.
"I guess he did ask for it with all of his talk of revolution, but I guess none of us saw him meeting a gory end.", Jordan sighs.
"What do we tell the guys?", I ask. Jordan shrugs taking his hat of momentarily to run his fingers through his hair before placing it back on and exhaling a deep sigh.
"I have no idea Dan. Fans are going to start getting suspicious now with Dex gone for good and James still out with his coma or what ever state he's in."
"We'll have to figure something out eventually..."
"I know for now let's just push it off to the side, we've got enough going on without worrying about the fans.", Jordan sighs.
"Yeah we do...."
"I'll go tell the others.", Jordan sighs before heading out of my office.
So much for the office being mellowed out.
Kevin
The sound of my phone brings me out of my current dreamlike state that seemed to cloud me at all times. I was constantly in a place where life was better and didn't feel like hell, where I wasn't being haunted and watched at every waking minute.
"Hello?", I ask after hitting the accept button.
"Kevin what the hell is going on there?", a familiar voice asks frantically.
Nick.
"Nick? what do you mean?", I ask confused. A sudden crash alerts sends me over edge, and suddenly jumping. Casting a look around my room I'm careful to make sure it wasn't on my end.
"What the fucks going in, Nick are you okay?", I ask nervously.
"Kevin who in the hell is Blurryface and why is he after me?! Why the fuck didn't you tell me!", Nick shrieks.
The first sentence makes my heart stop completely. Blurryface was after Nick, it wasn't just here. It didn't just want those of us in the office it wanted every creature no matter the location.
Another crash.
"I didn't think he'd come after you guys shit, get out of there Nick. Get out now. Don't confront it or anything just leave.", I order.
"I can't leave its in front of the door!"
"Isn't there another way out? Don't you have a fire escape!"
"I can't get there he moves so freakishly fast! Shit he's coming toward me Kevin! Kevin help!", Nick yells.
"Nick stay with me, get away!"
Silence.
More silence.
A deep voice speaks into the phone in almost a hiss that she'd shivers down my spine, and makes every hair on my body stand straight up.
"You're too late."
