The Story and Timeline of Five Nights At Freddy's (And the fanverse)

2000 to 2009

2000: El Chip's Fiesta buffet opens on October 7th selling tortilla chips.

2001: Blue Jolly and Tweetie are created.

2002: El Chip's Fiesta buffet closes on June 5th.

2003

Axel gets a job at Doug & Rachel's as a night-guard.

Sarah Maylor is an unpopular girl with low self esteem as she doesn't like her appearance. She is obsessed with the idea of being "beautiful" and wants to be popular.

Sarah wants to be beautiful. This is because she thinks she is hideous and thus repulsive to the boy she likes. One day, she tries to make herself noticed by the popular girls by sitting at their table, but ends up upset when they don't notice her and accidentally spills a salad on her crush as he passes by.

Later that day, walking home from school, she sees what looks like an arm coming out of the trunk of a car in a junkyard. Curious, she uses a piece of scrap metal to force the trunk open. She finds that the arm belonged to an animatronic named Eleanor who was left sitting in the car. She takes the animatronic home, cleans it up, and then turns it on. The robot springs to life and introduces herself. To show her appreciation for cleaning her up and turning her on, Eleanor promises to grant any wish Sarah may have, to which Sarah requests to become beautiful. Upon hearing the wish, Eleanor tells Sarah to give her time to think about how to do it.

The next day when Sarah gets home from school, Eleanor gives her a silver heart-shaped pendant, and instructs her to never under any circumstance take the pendant off. Eleanor then instructs Sarah to get in bed so that she can sing her to sleep, which she claims is the only way for her to help make Sarah beautiful.

When Sarah wakes up the next day, she sees that her arms have changed, and when she goes to school she gets a compliment from one of the popular girls about how her nails look. When she gets home, Eleanor again instructs her to get in bed after she does her homework, and when she gets up she is again changed.

The next day, her legs follow a similar change as her arms. After this, she starts to get a little more attention at school. Finally, her torso is changed to have a flatter stomach and larger breasts, giving her a more womanly figure.

Sarah became more entranced with her new appearance. This prompted her to start pushing away her friends (Quinnsezl, Martin and Abby) as she worked her way in with the popular girls, whom she referred to as the Beautifuls. She also started to catch the eye of her long-time crush, Mason Blair, even starting a relationship and going on dates with him. However, in all of this, Sarah started to lie about her home life, pretending she was wealthier than she was and that her father was still around all in the name of trying to fit in.

This continues until all that is left of Sarah before she met Eleanor that hasn't changed is her face. When she asks Eleanor to change this, Eleanor warns that she may not recognize her own face. When Sarah insists, Eleanor instructs her to once again go to sleep.

Sarah wakes up with a new, perfect face, and goes to school. She goes a date with her crush. She spends an entire weekend with her new friends and her life is going really well. One night before school, she has a nightmare about Eleanor, and wakes up to find her standing over her bed. Afraid, she tells Eleanor to go to the corner, which Eleanor obeys.

One day at school, during lunch, Sarah's new shoes cause her to slip and fall hard, causing her necklace to come off. She starts shaking uncontrollably and hears screams coming from other kids in the cafeteria. She realizes she is no longer human but scrapyard junk, crudely pieced together. She stumbles home in panic, but cannot find Eleanor anywhere. As her body continues to turn into metal, she looks in the garage and finds garbage bags full of human body parts and organs, which she realizes are her own.

Still steadily turning into a pile of scrap metal, at that moment Sarah realizes that Eleanor had been conducting surgery upon her while she slept, replacing her bodily organs with metal scraps. Eleanor appears, wearing a heart-shaped necklace similar to Sarah's. She presses a button on it, and transforms into Sarah prior to her transformation. It suddenly occurs to Sarah that she hadn't been bad looking at all, but before she can confront Eleanor, Eleanor runs off, leaving Sarah to die.

Sarah's friend Quinnsezl finds Eleanor as Sarah and quickly realizes who she is and decapitates her with an axe.

After Eleanor dies, Abby and Martin arrive at Sarah's house, Martin comforts Quinnsezl as Abby finds Sarah's scrap metal remains.

2004: Doug & Rachel's closes its doors.

2005: Axel buys the animatronics from the company of Doug & Rachel's and makes a small business using the animatronics on October 17th.

2006: Jeremy Fitzgerald/Fritz Glade builds the Popgoes Gang and Strings.

2007

January 17th: Fazbear Entertainment Manufacturers closed down.

Marilyn Schmidt once again lost a bet with her friends and has to spend five nights at the abandoned Rowboatics factory. In the warehouse department, she is forced to fend off against the haunted and glitchy animatronics, including Withered New Cindy, Withered New Candy, Withered Chester, Withered Blank, Withered Penguin, Withered Rat, and Withered Cat.

After spending an extra night there now knowing about her mother's trauma due to the Rat and the Cat, Marylin takes advantage of the factory's power schedule and faulty wiring and sets the factory ablaze with her parents who came to save her as they escape the building and watch it go up in flames. The fire brigade arrives at 7 PM, and are unable to put the fire out until 8 the next morning, where the fire finally causes the factory to crumble. Candy and his legacy are finally destroyed and freeing Mary from her trauma. (August 6th - August 11th)

After that, Marylin and her parents get ice cream in the afternoon.

Marylin falls in love with her sister's childhood friend Winston Zachary Churchill.

2008

After many years the old and forgotten Maggie opened a museum compiling all the events and mascots of the two restaurants, the mascots were very destroyed. It was impossible for them to be active, but they still had souls inside them, so they still had a good chance of moving. One cold and desolate night in the museum, Cerdi became active. He left his shelf and decided to see the museum where he was and in the west hallway of the 2nd floor, he saw a photo of him and a child. A few seconds later, he looked at the camera with piercing white pupils. A few days later Jerry the rabbit woke up in the night. He walked towards the area of ​​Maggie's and knew that he had to end all of that, but he was going to do it another time. A few days later, a security guard vacancy appeared. A 21-year-old girl named Stacy decided to take the position, the head of the museum spoke to her a little before she went to work. The animatronics found out about this and decided to go after her. On night 1 she had to face the devastated Maggie, Chanchi and Lola. She didn't have many problems, she just had to close the back door and that's it. On her second night she had to face Crackie and Guppy, who was in front of her and Crackie coming from behind. It cost her a lot but she was able to spend the night. On her third night, she had to have good hearing. Since Cerdi and Jerry were trying to enter through the ventilation above. But Stecy could tell if they were there thanks to the sounds they made in the ventilation. He had already grabbed Guppy's hand. She was able to spend the third night of it. On her fourth night, she confronted those from before, but now with Crackie too. She was already used to it and she was able to spend her night. On her fifth night everyone went for her. But by a miracle she was able to spend the night. Her payment was $65.50 and she was also given a miniature stuffed animal of Maggie. She decided to go there for one night. 6. There was only Guppy, Cerdi and Jerry, nothing more. She was able to spend the night without any problems. Then, she left the place. Jerry and Cerdi decided to burn down Maggie's museum to get it over with. Everything was caught on camera.

Quinnsezl decides to open her own Cafe/bakery with an animatronic band called "Wally The Wolf & Friends".

2009: After the burning down of the Rowboatics Factory and Maggie's Museum, The Schmidt Family including Mary's cousin Dan meet up for lunch.
