Ben had arrived at his next destination. The Omnitrix beeped to indicate it needed some time to recharge. He started his walk to a closeby town, and as he got closer he started to notice something strange. All the cars around him were vintage and all the clothes the townsfolk wore were retro. He couldn't believe his eyes as he walked into the town and passed the sign saying "Welcome to Hawkins".
Ben: What the hell is this place? Did I time travel?
Ben walked further into the town to try and find any signs of one of the aliens. After about 20 mins of walking, something caught his eye.
Ben: No way!
Ben rushed into the building he was staring at and frantically started looking around, almost as if he had lost something.
Ben: NOOOO! No Sumo Slammers?! Worst arcade ever! What is the point?
Ben fell to his knees in front of a Ms. Pacman machine. While on the ground he felt the earth shake on his knees. This wizened him up to get back to his feet and look outside. He could see the sky had turned red in the distance and what looked like bat creatures were flying around terrorizing the people in the town.
Ben: It's no Sumo Slammers, but this should be fun.
Ben started to make his way to the source. When he arrived, he saw a girl standing over a giant pit in the ground where the bat creatures were coming out of.
Ben: Hey kid! Are you alright? What's going on?
The girl turned to him with a streak of blood running down her face. She turned back towards the pit and put her hands up towards it. The pit began shrinking almost as if she was pushing it together with her mind. She screamed as it shrunk even more but couldn't get it all gone. She took a step back and passed out, but Ben caught her.
Ben: Alright, I don't know who you are, but you need to see a doctor.
Ben picked her up and started walking towards the town, but a man stood with a gun pointed at them. He wore a sheriff's uniform and a name badge that said "Hopper".
Hopper: Put her down! Put her down right now, asshole, and don't make any sudden moves!
Ben: Woah woah, I was helping her! She just fainted! She needs a doctor!
Hopper: I don't trust you for a second, kid. Set her down and walk away.
Ben: Alright, damn!
Ben sat her down in front of Hopper. The ground started to shake again, and Ben turned to look at the pit. Then a mass amount of electricity came out of the pit followed by a huge swarm of the bat creatures.
Ben: Man I hate this town.
About 10 bat creatures swarmed towards the girl and picked her up, dragging her down into the pit.
Hopper: NOOO! EL!
Without hesitation, Ben ran up to the pit, about to jump.
Hopper: What the hell are you doing, kid?! Get back!
Ben: I got this! Trust me!
Ben winked and jumped into the pit after her.
Ben: I sure hope I got this.
Ben dialed up the Omnitrix and pressed down on it but it still wasn't charged!
Ben: Aww come on!
Ben grabbed the legs of two of the creatures and used them to slowly descend down towards the ones carrying Eleven. As they got closer to the ground, Ben got closer to her. Ben swung from the creatures he was holding on to and grabbed Eleven from the captors, landing safely on the ground.
