Sasuke looked at the scene with horror in his eyes. It's something he feared to imagine. He would even die than witness this. His breath hitched when he saw Naruto lying on the ground as blood ran down from his arm. The rain was hitting his body washing away his blood.

Sasuke's eyes widened when he saw Naruto on the ground, surrounded by blood and glass shards from a broken bottle. He felt panic and fear overwhelm him. He hoped that it was a nightmare.

He ran over to Naruto and knelt beside him, gently shaking his shoulder. " Naruto!! " he cried out, his voice filled with desperation. His hands were trembling as he held Naruto's cold body.

" No.. no.. no.. no.. no.. no.. " he muttered to himself, his mind racing with dread. He quickly took a handkerchief from his pocket and tightly wrapped it around Naruto's arm, hoping it would stop the heavy bleeding.

Sasuke gently tapped on his face multiple times but there was no sign of Naruto waking up. Each and every passing second made Sasuke hopeless. He felt scared to accept it. Sasuke felt like the world around him just stopped working. He felt numb.

" Naruto!? " Sakura yelled from behind. She ran to Naruto and crouched to better examine what happened. She was too shocked to say anything.

Sakura glanced at Naruto's wounded arm with multiple deep cuts in it. How can he hurt himself like that? It pained Sakura. Naruto was like a brother to her. Sakura grabbed the other hand and checked Naruto's pulse.

" H-Hes alive! " Sakura said feeling relive but the relief didn't even last for five seconds.

Sakura took out her phone and called the ambulance. She couldn't even look at Sasuke anymore. Sasuke looked destroyed. He looked like he lost everything. Sasuke isn't the type to lose hope this fast but when it comes to Naruto, he's a whole different person.

" The ambulance is going to be here in ten minutes.. Please calm down Sasuke. You can't do anything by panicking. " Sakura said.

Soon the rain stopped but Sasuke's mind was racing as he tried to hold Naruto. The sight of Naruto's injured body filled him with guilt. Sasuke blamed himself for this. With shaky hands, he held onto Naruto's body hoping that Naruto would be ok. Sasuke felt scared to let go.

" Naruto.. P-please..Hold on.. " He muttered to Naruto while holding his hand.

Hinata and Temari rushed to the spot after hearing what happened. Temari was at a loss of words. She just stared at Naruto thinking about why she moved to this school in the first place.

Temari used to study in a different city but when Temari's parents heard that Naruto wasn't ok in his past school, they recommended Minato and Kushina to move here. After Naruto got in this school, Temari applied for the same school as Naruto to keep an eye on everything.

After a few minutes, the ambulance arrived in front of their school. As soon as Sasuke heard the ambulance, he felt impatient. The paramedics came in and took Naruto inside the ambulance.

"We want only one person to stay with the patient. " One of the paramedics said.

" ..Can I-i?.. " Sasuke muttered out. He wasn't in the right state to speak right now.

" Yeah, sure if you're the closest to the patient from everyone here. " The paramedic replied when Sasuke's heart dropped.

Sasuke knows what he has done. Naruto probably doesn't even want to see his face. Besides, Temari was there too. Between him and Temari, Naruto will easily pick Temari.

" Yeah. he is the closest. Let him stay with Naruto. " Temari replied when Sasuke looked at her in shock.

Temari knows about everything that Sasuke did to Naruto. He hurt her cousin. Why was she letting Sasuke stay with Naruto? Sasuke felt like a criminal.
