Chapter 19:The lie

There's was a slight chance it would work, but he wasn't sure entirely. Katsuki told himself to not get close to her anymore. But this, this was important. After school, he grabbed his phone and texted Y/N.

'Oi, I need to talk to you it's something important that we need to discuss. Meet me outside the gates.'

He sighed, as he prepared to leave. Everyone else had left by then, he stayed behind to finish a assignment and clear his mind on how he would succeed in this damn lie. It was impossible for him, he couldn't just be like 'Hey Y/N I need you to make a illusion of me when our class gets investigated! Why you ask? I don't want to be investigated!' He felt stupid, this will never work. She's not stupid, she's not that smart either. He shook his head, he wished he had some type of manipulation quirk right about now. Maybe it would better to just be straight with the girl, and sprinkle in some lies here and there. He was puzzled, not knowing exactly what to say, he waited outside the gate for the girl. His palms becoming more and more sweaty, wiping the sweat off on his pants.

Like about 10 minutes later she finally appeared, her H/C hair shinning in the light. He pretended not to gaze at her, "You need to discuss something?" Y/N said as she walked towards him, "Yeah, it's important. Let's go to my house to hangout yeah?" His voice was low, seemed like it was a urgent matter. "Uh, okay?" She quickly followed the blonde as he already started to walk away expecting the girl to follow him.
As they arrived to the Bakugou residence, they quickly went upstairs to have a chat. He sat on his desk chair, while Y/N sat on the bed. "What did you Need exactly? I mean we aren't exactly close so is this personal or not?" Katsuki didn't know if this would be the right call or not. "To what extent is your quirk anyways?" He said in a chilled tone, Y/N was a bit surprised. He called me here for my quirk? She thought to herself, "Uhm well, depending on my energy I could make simple objects and create phantoms that look like real people." She quickly explained, 'Is he going to use me for my quirk?' Katsuki listened and nodded, "You do know of the police coming in a few days right?" He paused, his hands getting sweaty. "I'm innocent, but my family decided to take a trip for a couple of days. But that'll make it seem like I fucking did it so." He shrugged a bit, "Could you make a illusion of me for that specific day?" He seemed gentle with his words, it was like a last desperate attempt. He couldn't be found out not like this. He needed to become a hero, not be in prison for something he thinks is out of control.

Y/N looked puzzled, such an odd request isn't it?  It would be understandable, but why would he care so much. She looked at him concerned, "Why would you be so concerned about being suspected?" She raised a brow, he psychically flinched. "If you are so innocent, you wouldn't care about being suspected. She stood up, would she dare to make those type of accusations against him? "Were you involved in any of this?" She stared at him, Katsuki looked at her with blank eyes. "No, I was never involved in it." He stood up as well. "Why would you even accuse me of that shit?" He was getting upset, Y/N spoke up, "Why the hell would you ask me to make a clone of yourself?!" She started stepping back towards the bedroom door. "I already told you why idiot!" He spat back, walking closer to her. "No! Your story doesn't make sense! You fucking did those murders didn't you?!" She also spat back, he didn't know what to say, before she could even open the door he pinned her against it. A loud silence came between the two. "You'll never understand." He just said, his red eyes Piercing You, it seemed like he would do anything to keep this secret.
