Alexander was a powerful vampire. The most powerful one actually. The first one to ever exist. Men had worshipped god. Alexander had worshipped Satan. He had feared death and tried to avoid it. God didn't give humans eternal life but an eternal afterlife. Satan had rebelled against god. Why wouldn't that bastard do it again? And his theory had worked. Alexander had given up his humanity in exchange for eternal life. What were a few blood drops? He would get used to it soon enough.

He had already been nobility. Taking over the throne hadn't been difficult, considering that he was already a prince. He only had to wait until his father would die.

Once Alexander had claim the throne he started sharing his eternal life with a small circle of nobilities. Not long after, servants followed. He didn't turn all of them personally. That would take too much time and he had noticed something. The thinner the line, the weaker the vampires would become, as promised. That's why he had turned HER first. The woman who had claimed his heart. She had been sold to the palace by her family. No one would miss her, except for him. They had shared a drink. He had made her drink his blood directly from his wrist, to make sure she would be powerful. A few drops wouldn't do. Not when it came to her. He wanted her to be perfect. She deserved all that power. He then drained her and had waited for her to wake up. He then compelled her to forget all her human memories. She awoke again, ready to be shaped by him. Ready to be turned into perfection. Her personality would stay the same. Or so he thought. The girl would grow to be loyal but resentful towards him. She wouldn't know where those emotions came from. Emotions were permanent but her human memories hadn't been. What should've been the start of a beautiful love story would turn into one of hate.
