I am looking at the empty restaurant and wondering why I gave in to my urges and lost everything I worked so hard to build. Christian Grey came in and bought me out as well as changed the name of the restaurant. He offered me a job as a chef, not the head chef though. I will be one of the many assistant chefs. Barney put a good word in for me. I ended up getting sued by numerous customers and employees who filed a law suit against me personally. They felt my security was lacking and proved that very point in court. So I had to pay them nearly everything I had in my bank account and what I was paid for the restaurant and Barney's and my home. He let me sell it as long as I signed the divorce papers and agreed to give him custody of Tia. Not having Tia was the final blow for me. I am living in a home in a quiet neighborhood now thanks to Barney buying it for me and assuring it was a very secure place to live. I had to buy a cheap car after someone destroyed my Volvo. I have an asshole for a boss and he makes sure that I know that I hired Esteban over him and it was huge mistake. He was completely right about that. I just agree with him and take whatever he has to dish out to me.

I got paid well for my work for Mia Miller. I then took the job that Jason Taylor offered me. Candace learned she was pregnant and I need to take a better paying job and with benefits. The job for GEH fit the bill and came with a nice home to live in. Not to mention all the perks that came with the job.

After the Mia Miller case Thomas decided it is better to take the better job with the billionaire businessman than to worry about getting paid for our services. I work the computers and now that I am pregnant we need the medical insurance that GEH provides. I met the Grey family when we moved into the home they provided for us on the estate they live on. They have two children and two dogs. Jason's children are in college at this point. They live in dorms and visit on holidays. I met Barney and he seems to be coping with being a single father very well. Tia is in school now and she is smart. Mia visits her every chance she gets and they play together and then Mia goes home. She at one time was a good wife and mother. She does her best as a mother at this point, but I suspect she will try her best and everyone helps her with her attempts. I met her parents and they both are good parents and grandparents. Some people aren't meant to be parents. I have always been good around babies and children.

Barney
Mia will always have access to Tia with security watching over them. At one point I could have taken her completely away from Mia, but it would hurt Tia more than Mia to do that. It was the day that Tia was with Mia in her Volvo and a group attacked her as they were trying to get in the Volvo. Luckily someone called the cops and only a few bruises and a destroyed car was all the damage done by the crowd that attacked them. So security is tight and Mia has to come to my home to see Tia. She is still Tias mother and will al2ays be so I put aside all my anger towards her to assure our daughter has the best childhood possible. My life was very hard until I found computers. Tia gets to see her cousins. And she has friends at GEH and her school. I want the best for Tia and for her to have a normal life. So far she's been on a roller coaster ride where her mother is concerned.

Barney and I had a long talk about Mia before I bought the her business and their home. I had a realtor find her a small home that could be upgraded security wise and in a community with children that their daughter would have friends. Barney set up the meeting with Mia and I called HR to handle the issue of bringing her staff on and getting someone good to run the restaurant and a new head chef. Things went as smoothly as they could after Mia turned the money over to the attorneys who represented the victims of the shootings. I made Jason found someone to oversee the security for the restaurant. Barney's old home was renovated to allow for more than one family to live there and we found two families that needed a home and helped them move into it. My people worked fast.

I knew that Mia was doing things that she could lose everything, but she was not considering the people she was hurting by doing it. I never like Esteban because he continued to hit on me and Kate. Any women who had rich husbands or even rich women. The poor ones he could care less. I always had my security with me when he was around. We found out he was blackmailing numerous women and had the goods to destroy their lives completely. Christian told me to stop going to the restaurant and just have my food picked up from now on. I guess if th3 target is big enough Esteban stops at nothing to assure he gets what he wants. A restraining order against him changed his mind about pursuing me. Along with my security teams. He backed off before he was put behind bars, preventing him from going after other rich women. He had so many women believing that he was in love with them. He would seduce them and get what he needed to blackmail them and move on to another target.
