"ok so when I was 13 my dad went on this  bender and didn't come home for two weeks we tried calling and texting  him but he never answered or replied he had done it before so we stopped worrying and just waited  till he came home and he did on November the 1 2020 at 8:09 in the morning he was drunk and when he is drunk he gets angry and picked a fight with my mum for no reason," I said tears running down my face 

"take your time," Colby said

"I woke up to  yelling and crying  coming from downstairs and I tried to get back to sleep and then there was a bang making me jump out of bed and I quietly ran downstairs and saw my mum on the floor tears rolling down her face with bruises and cuts all over," i said 

"h-he was walking towards her yelling she looked at me and she looked so scared m-my dad noticed and l-looked t-the way she w-was and when h-he saw me h-he chased me up to my room i-i closed the door and locked i-it but he kicked it down a-and started yelling at me t-then he s-started beating me," I said 

"the rest is a blur," I said

"omg im so sorry," Sam said 

he pulled me into a hug and colby joined in it was the best hug I have had in a long time it made me feel safe and warm and like I have people who actually care about me for once and for once I don't want it to end I wish we could stay like this forever but sadly it didnt last long because they let go 

I looked down and played with my hands waiting for someone to talk 

"hey jade?" Sam said

"ya," I said looking at him 

"I'm so fucken sorry that I was yelling at Jake I didn't know that it would cause you to have a flashback" Sam said

"It's all good its, not your fault as I said to Colby it's not your fault you didn't know you guys were just having fun I should have told you everything when I told you about my childhood but I didn't and this is the consequence," I said

"let's do something," Sam said

"Like?" I asked

"let's have a movie night but instead of movies we binge watch all of the old Sam and colby videos like the ones before we started exploring" colby said

"omg yesss," I said 

"ok get dressed into some comfy clothes and meet us in the theatre room we will get everything ready" Sam said

I nodded and they left the room so I got out some sweats and a jumper and went to the bathroom had a shower and washed my hair and body then I got out dried off got dressed and did my skincare dried my hair then I grabbed some socks then I went downstairs and walked into the movie room where colby was grabbing blankets out of the closet and sam was making popcorn and cory was setting the videos up and jake was putting the snacks in bowls

"what can I do?" I asked

"Can you grab some white claws?" colby asked

"Sure anything else?" I asked

"And the ice cream out of the freezer and get the others," Jake said 

"ok," I said 

I walked upstairs and knocked on everyone's door and told them we were having a Sam and colby marathon in the movie theatre then I went to my room and grabbed the bag that I had brought with me then I emptied everything on the floor and went into the kitchen and grabbed all of the white claws and then I grabbed out the icecream containers and then went back to the movie theatre 

"Where do you want everything?" I asked 

"pass here," Jake said

"ok be careful with the bag it's special," I said and he nodded

I gave Jake the bag and he emptied it and organized it then sam gave him the popcorn and colby gave everyone blankets Jake gave us all a white claw and popcorn and a bowl of lollies each and then sat down and Cory pressed play on the video and we watched every single video that sam and colby made when they were younger and we laughed and made jokes and just lived in the moment enjoying each other company I wish I could have done this earlier in my life I never know how much I have been missing out while being locked up in my room and only going out to work and go to school 

like I always knew I missed out on parties and didn't have friends fuck like I only had like two sleepovers in my life and they were both with Ava but I still didn't realise that there was so much more to life than what I did 

all I thought life was is like going to school work the park sleepover at a friend's house every now and then and laying in bed all day and watching movies I never knew that other people went to parties and hung out and had sleepovers and stuff like that I thought that that was always just in movies and tv shows like the perfect movie life that no one ever got to live but it turns out that it was just me who never got to live that life I was stuck inside while everyone else has fun I know it was kinda my fault that I never made any friends and that no one liked me but I can't help but  fucken hate my mum and dad for not letting me out and letting me live my life I hate that I was sheltered all of my life hiding me away from the world like I was a mistake that they didnt want to share to the world 

"As fun, as this is let's ditch it and have a party, go surfing, snorkelling like anything else that is fun like this is fun but I wanna do something exciting i haven't had anything exciting in my life maybe even invite everyone over and have a sleepover or something" I blurted out 

"omg how about we have a girl's night and the boys have a boy's night," Kat said 

"yesss" me and tara yelled 

"ok because it's already 4:00 pm go get dressed into your pjs and I'll invite all of the girls  over for  a girl's night Sam Jake colby and Cory will go get snacks from the store while Me Tara and Jade set everything up here," kat said

"ok," we all said

I went up to my room hoped into the shower and  shaved then I got out and got dressed into my pink silk pjs then I went downstairs and waited  in the lounge room for the girls to come down 

after a while, they all came down and we all had the same pjs on

"omg we have the same pjs on" I laughed out 

"great minds think alike" Kat said making us all burst into laughter

after we calmed down I got up and grabbed some blankets and put them in the movie room on the front seats then on the floors and grabbed a bunch of pillows then we grabbed some more white claws and put them where the other ones were then made up some more popcorn   then we turned off the youtube videos we were watching then the boys came back with the snacks and we grabbed more bowls and put them in there

we had gummy bears, sour gummy worms, coke bottles, skittles and M&M

then we all sat down and said by to the boys and they left and we watched all different movies we talked did some face masks then we did our nails and we laughed had a pillow fight and then we turned on some music and started dancing and singing then we all sat back down and turned on another movie and then I drifted off into a deep sleep
