Oh my gosh! I remember I had written a shirt story back when I was on 6th grade and I've modified it, added a few things and fixed the punctuation errors AND I JUST FOUND IT IN MY NOTES!
_______________________________One sunny day, a little girl named Jessica moved into the house in front of a little boy named Josh. She was about his age, 10.
The house was very old and was starting to fall down, there was no paint and no way to fix the attic or roof.
One day Jessica's mother fell very sick. Her mother eventually passed away and Jessica became depressed.
Jessica's father decided he was going to try and fix the roof and attic while his daughter, Jessica, started repainting the outside of the house.
He fixed the roof and finnaly started on the attic. While he was fixing the attic, he fell through the the floor and hit his head on the way down killing him.
Jessica found out a couple of hours later going to get more paint. And she knew he was dead.
She cried for days sitting there wondering what she was going to do for she was only a young child.
Josh noticed Jessica nor her father had been outside, so he walked over to Jessica's house and knocked on the door. Jessica opened the door, but hesitated as she did.
Josh was standing there awkwardly and finally he said "I haven't seen you or your father in days, and I was worried something happened."
"My mother passed away.." She responded.
Josh knew something happened, but he didn't want to say it to her; he knew it would probably upset her.
"I was gonna go to the funeral, but my mom said no, and I asked her if we could at least go later and put a rose on her grave, and she said yes."
While he was talking Jessica felt a pain in her chest. She fell on the ground and started hyperventilating. Josh went and got help but when he got back, she was dead.
Little did Josh and his parents know, Jessica had a breathing problem. None of them knew she'd been grieving over her father's death so much that she forgot her medicine.
He went to her funeral and put two beautiful roses on her grave, and every year he did that the day he met her in remembrance of her.
