"Casper?"
I whisper in my head, putting the phone down, clutching my shirt over my chest. I'm screwed! How does he have Noah's phone? Did they snatch it from him?
Is Casper even at home? What if he is at Noah's. Oh no!
I turn around to check where Casper is, but another sight terrified me when I saw him standing behind me with a cellphone in his hand. It was Noah's. I stand there, not daring to meet eyes with him because the initial two second gaze is enough for me to know that he is super angry and I have no chance to make anything right this time.
Ironical! I have never got a chance to make anything right ever.
"And I thought you want to be forgiven," he says, taking small, menacing steps towards me.
I hug myself as the chills run down my spine. I can't run from him nor do I know how to make him understand that I'm willing to do anything to make him forgive me as long as he stop hurting those who has done nothing wrong.
"You know what, I think I have got a solution for this situation too," I hear him say as he stops at a distance of half-foot away from me.
I don't like the sound of it. Whatever he has in his mind is harmful, I can feel it.
He throws the phone on the couch and moves his hands behind his back. I watch him with the focus of a bright student until my heart floats in my throat when I see him producing a gun. I snap my heart up to look into his eyes. There was nothing in it. I don't know what's going on in his head and what he intends to do with this weapon.
"Let's put this to an end for you," he says, grabbing my hand. "And for the sake of my family,"
"Casper, stop!"I cried but it was of no use. "Where are we going?"
"To finish some unfinished business," he snarls, walking forward.
"What has happened to you, Casper? Leave the poor guy alone! He has done nothing wrong to you, for God's sake!"
I yell at the top of my lungs, but it doesn't affect him in any way as he continues dragging me towards the car and pushes me inside. It was a rough push, but he didn't forget to put a hand on my head to avoid any unwanted accident that might have resulted in any delay.
"Go!" throwing command at driver he joins me in the backseat.
"I'm expecting you to stay as quiet as space 'cause I'm not in my right senses at the moment," he says, cupping my right cheek.
"Why are you doing this?" I ask him, sobbing.
"I planned to keep it a surprise, but since you won't stop crying, I want you to know that Noah isn't the guy who is going to get killed tonight," he replies, looking straight, leaning back in the seat.
It calms me for a moment before I realizes that it's not a complete good news. He is going to murder someone and this thing alone is very disturbing.
"Then who is it?" I question him, my tears not longer in the view.
He doesn't reply.
Throughout the ride, I keep trying to guess who would it be, but no name fitted right in the puzzle. Ten minutes later, the car stops in front of, what feels like, an abondoned building. He steps out, holding my hand to make me follow him. He takes me inside and I still prayed that it's not Noah in there because I don't trust Casper at the moment. I fail to understand his hatred for Noah, but I'm well aware of the depth of it so I'm scared for both–Casper & Noah.
