Harris (Noah's Cousin)POV:
"How useless I was to my family while strangers had been taking advantage of my skills,"
I mutter, fisting my hands as I walk towards my black Lambo.
My skills are that I can put a bullet in a head from a mile away smoothly. Most people appreciate my skills in the world where I have been working, but outside, I'm called inhuman.
I sigh as I hopped inside of the car. Inserting the password into my phone, I dialed a number as I would need to know the whereabouts of Casper Bentley to teach him a small lesson for messing up with my family.
"Hey, man, what's up?" Danny, the guy who can provide me the location of anyone on this earth, said.
"Hey, Danny, I need your help," I decided to go straight to the point.
"Anything for you, man, but hear me out first. I have got a premium task for you. The party offers ten million dol–,"
"Could it wait until a few days? I have a family business to settle first," I tell him, cutting him in the middle of his sentence.
"Nah, they want the guy to be dead no sooner than later," he replies. I shake my head, making my decision.
"Then I'm out," I tell him. "I have a guy named Casper Bentley to take care of,"
"Casper who?" Danny asks, surprised.
"Casper Bentley,"
I hear him shuffling through some stuff before his laugh resonates in my ear. "Oh, man, it looks like the entire universe has teamed against this single man,"
"What do you mean?" I ask him. It's not like I'm dumb, but I just wanted to confirm if he was saying what I was thinking he was saying.
"Has your guy, by any chance, lost his first wife in a car accident?" he asks, bringing a smirk to my face.
"It's the same scumbag," I reply through my clenched teeth.
"Meet me at our old spot then,"

The government wants him dead because he got involved with some secret agencies while trying to chase down Dylan. His ex-fiancee, who happens to be a short-tempered spoil brat, also wants to see him dead, now Noah's cousin has entered the chat with same intentions.
In short nobody wants him to see tomorrow's sunshine.
The board meeting didn't go well, and now he is about to bear a great loss in the business, but it isn't affecting him in the least. He doesn't want billions of dollars to be happy, and he knows it very well. He is resigning as a CEO to start a new phase of life where he doesn't have the kind of money that attracts jealousy, betrayal, and enemies.
He has decided to spend the rest of his dream life in a suburb with his small family that he has retained after fighting so many battles.
Saying goodbye to his few loyal employees, Casper Bentley steps out of the building, hopping inside his car. All the burden on his shoulders has been shed, and now he can finally feel the peace of a happy life. He has decided to forget the past and live in the present because mistakes have been made but now he realizes that punishing each other will only cause misery, and life is just too short for all this bullshit.
"Faith, Faith," he calls for her the moment he enters home. His heart is pounding against his chest wall, wanting to come out and embrace all the sweet little things it has ever craved.
