I had finally finished Kindergarten again, but this time I was moving to another town. I hugged Moon goodbye one last time as the rest of our stuff was packed up and moved. I got into the car and we drove to our new home. "Why do we have to move?" I asked as my mother shook her head and looked over at my father. "We needed something smaller that's all." I nodded my head as we pulled out to our new house. I stepped inside and looked around. "Mom there's a dead bird on the floor." My mother gasped and grabbed a shovel.

My mother threw the dead bird outside and sighed. "Hopefully that's a one time thing." I nodded my head and looked into my new room. "This will all be mine?" I asked as my father nodded and I walked around the large room. I didn't think I would need this much space but I wasn't going to complain. My parents set up my room and I organized my belongings. I didn't have much but I was happy for the things I had. As we all got situated we heard something in the walls. "What was that?"

"Probably some rodent." My father said as he leaned back in his chair. "Better not be." My mother said as she got up and went to her bedroom. I took that as my sign to head to bed. I did have a big day the next day and I wanted to be well rested. I got all comfy in my bed and closed my eyes. I could hear the wind outside and it was calming. Until I heard something crawling in the walls. I could hear it running back and forth it was scary and annoying.

The next morning I got ready for school and my mother brought me down to the bus stop. Soon the bus arrived and I got on finding my seat and looking out the window. The bus stopped at another stop and I felt my seat dip. I turned and saw a girl beside me. "Hi, Im emily..what's yours?" "Sun." I told her as she smiled and looked out my window. "You must be new huh?" I nodded my head and she sighed. "Nervous?" I nodded again and she smiled. "Your gonna like it here trust me." I nodded and smiled. She seemed like a really nice girl.

Soon we arrived at the school and I headed to my class. "Seems were in the same class Sun." I nodded and we headed in. "So where are you from originally?" She asked as we hung up our bags. "Just as small town." Emily nodded and we sat down at our new desks. Soon the bell rang and our teacher walked in. "Good morning students, my name is Mrs. F. I am your first grade teacher." I looked around the room as she explained how we were going to do things. The first thing we did was introduce ourselves.

Time Skip

We were soon a month into school and suddenly Mrs. F was gone. We were all sitting in our class room till another teacher walked in. "Hello, I am Mrs. Kale. I will be your new teacher." She seemed really nice and I was actually happy we got a new teacher. As she got to know us she could tell I was different. One day her and I were sitting down at my desk and was quizing me. "Now can you repeat the numbers I told you?" I nodded my head and repeated them back. "I'm sorry Sun, but that's not correct."

That night there was parent teacher confrences and I had to go to the school with my mom. "So Sun, seems to have a learning disability." My mother was shocked and turned to me. "How do you know?" My mother asked as she sat more upright. "He has a hard time remembering some things. And he's the first kid I've noticed." My mom nodded her head and turned to me. "What can we do to help it?" "There, isn't much. The best thing we can do is get him the help he needs." Mrs. Kale said as my mother nodded.

"We can get him specialized help which won't interfere with anything here." My mother nodded and rubbed my back. "When will this take effect?" My mother asked as Mrs. Kale smiled. We will start tomorrow so we can see what works and what doesn't." My mother nodded and turned to me. "Is this my fault?" I asked as they both shook their heads. "This is noones fault Sun. It's just something that happens with some kids." Mrs. Kale said as I nodded. "I'm glad you saw something was wrong before things got too difficult for him.

Mrs. Kale nodded and smiled. "Sun's a good kid, and I can tell he wants to learn." My mother nodded and sighed. "When he was in Kindergarden I asked the school if there was anything going on and they said no. I'm just upset that they didn't see anything sooner." Mrs. Kale nodded and sighed. "They could have seen something but maybe they didn't care too or they weren't able to handle it." My mother nodded and we wrapped up the meeting. We said our goodbye and headed home.

I promise Moon will be back soon, there's just a bit of filler first. I might just compact things a bit if yall are okay with that? I just don't want the filler to drag too much.
