It was the last few weeks of school and we were going into first grade. Our teacher lead us up to the first grade wing and we filed into the classroom. We stood around the room while the teacher introduced herself. She called out everyones names but mine. I raised my hand and she looked at me confused. "Mrs. you never called my name." I said as she looked over to my teacher and I looked at Moon. "I'm sorry but you're not on my list." It hurt to hear those words and I noticed that so did Moon.

I had just been back with my friends for a few months and now I lose them again. This wasn't fair. We then left the classroom and headed back downstairs. I sat down at my table and pouted. "Sun are you okay?" I heard Moon ask as he sat beside me. I looked over at him and shook my head. "This isn't fair. You all get to go up to first grade and I have to stay back." Moon nodded and hugged me. "You'll still my friend Sun, notings gonna change that." I nodded my head and sighed. Next year was not gonna be fun.

Soon the school year ended and everyone was celebrating...except me. The last day of school the teacher talked about first grade and how much fun it would be. I only sat there and wished I was going with my friends. As the school day finished Moon and I waited for his mom. "I'm sorry you have to stay back Sun. I wish you were coming to first grade with us." I nodded my head as we saw Moon's mom come over to us. I really didn't want to talk about the fact that I had to stay back.

Once Moon and I got to his house we went to the back yard and played. We played until it was time for dinner. We sat down at the table and ate our food happily. Once it was time for me to leave I said my goodbyes and headed home. Moon and I spent our whole summer at his parents house with his grandparents. I always had some much fun with him and I never wanted the summer to end. But it soon did and I had to redo Kindergarten. "Mom do I really have to go back to Kindergarten?"

"Yes Sunny, you do." She said as she drove me to school while I sat in the back seat pouting. Soon I arrived at school and I saw all my friends in a group. It hurt that I couldn't talk to them anymore. "Sun you have to go you cant stay in the car." I heard my mother say as I then unbuckled and got out of the car. I headed into the school and into my new classroom. "You must be Sun, I'm Mrs. B." She seemed really nice, but I still didn't want to be here.

The day soon started and everyone was excited to be in Kindergarten...once again except me. Soon we got to me and I smiled. "Hi...I'm Sundrop I'm six years old and I like cats." The other kids all looked shocked and one seemed jealous. I looked away from them and hugged myself. The school day had only just started and I hated my new classmates. Lunch time soon came and I saw my friends. I headed over to the table and sat down. "Hi, guys." Freddy and Chica beamed and Moon scooted over for me to sit.

It was now the end of the day and I started to feel weird. Once I got into the car and buckled up I looked at my mom. "Mom I don't feel good." She looked back at me "what's wrong?" She asked as I then felt like I couldn't breathe again. "I can't breathe." I said as she quickly drove me to the clinic. I couldn't believe this was happening again, and I was hoping someone could help me this time. My mother brought me into the clinic and my breathing was getting worse. My mom kept calling my father but he would never pick up.

I spent a few hours at the clinic and my father never came or called. "Does dad not love me?" My mother looked sad and angry. "He does, he's just busy it seems." I nodded my head as the doctor came in and looked me over. "He's had this problem before and they couldn't do much but give him a breathing treatment." The doctor nodded and sighed. "He seems to have asthma and were gonna do a breathing treatment as well. You should also let his doctor know so they can give him an inhaler."

After the breathing treatment was over I was given a popsicle and we headed home. I was tired and felt weird after the treatment. Once home my mom gave me a shower and I got ready for bed. As I got settled for the night I could hear the front door open, signaling my father was home. I got out of bed and just as I was about to open the door I heard my mother yelling at my father. They seemed to be fighting more and it was scary. 'Is this normal for parents?' I wondered as I climbed back into bed and laid my head down.
