The next day I walked into school scared and sad. "Morning Sun...Sun, what's the matter?" Moon asked as he saw how upset I was. "I have to move to Georgia." Moon shook his head and hugged me. "I don't want you to go though. You're my best friend." I smiled and hugged Moon back. "I'm gonna miss you all." I said as Freddy came up to us. "You okay Sun?" Freddy asked as I shook my head. "I have to move away in a month." Freddy was shocked and hugged the two of us. "You can't just leave Sun. We'll come with you."

I shook my head again. "I'm gonna be staying with my Grandma." Moon let me go and sighed. "This isn't fair, why are they making you go?" I shrugged and we all headed into class. "I'm sure I'll see you guys again." I said with a smile, hoping to trick myself into thinking I would see them again. We all sat down and the rumors began to spread that I was leaving. Even Monty felt bad which was a surprise. I sat quietly in class for the day and my friends occasionally checked in, but not as much as Moon did.

TIME SKIP

The end of the month soon came and my mom held a party for me and my friends. My mom held the party at our favorite pizza place and we all danced around and laughed. Moon was always by my side and it never bothered me. "Hey Sun, can we get a picture together before you go?" I nodded my head and stood closer to Moon. Moon wrapped his arm around me and we smiled. His mom took the picture and I smiled at him. "I'm gonna miss you the most Moon."

Moon smiled and hugged me tight. "I'm never gonna forget you." I hugged him back and smiled as I fought back tears. "I'm never gonna forget you either." Freddy bumped into us and smiled. "Come on let's have some fun before we all get too sad." Moon shook his head and took my hand. Moon led me around to the dance floor and we danced with all our friends. As the night wore on I got more tired and my friends all started to leave. As I picked up a few things I felt arms wrapped around me. "I'm gonna miss you so much." I smiled and relaxed into his arms. "I'm gonna miss you too Moon."

TIME SKIP

It was the morning of our move and I was carrying my favorite stuffy while my parents loaded the car. Once everything was packed I got into the car and buckled up. It then dawned on me that I may never be back and everyone I knew was gonna be here while I was away. "Mom do we really have to leave?" My mom turned in her seat and looked at me. "Yes, you should meet your grandma." I nodded my head and my father pulled out of the driveway.

We drove for a few hours and stopped at a hotel for the night. We got out of the Jeep and went into our hotel room. I laid in my bed and faced away from my parents. 'I wanna go back home.' I thought to myself as I soon fell asleep for the night. When I awoke the next morning I was groggy and still sad. "Get up son we have to get back in the road." My dad said as I got up and began to get dressed. "Sun hurry up I'm not gonna wait on you all day."

We drove for a few more hours and pulled up to a small ranch house.
We all got out of the car and walked up to the front door. My mother knocked on the door and an older woman stepped out. "Clair!"  The older woman said as she hugged my mom. Once she pulled away from my mom she looked over at me. "And you must be Sunny." I nodded my head and she suddenly hugged me. I hugged her back and she squeezed me tighter. Once she pulled away she lead us inside.

Once inside we all got settled and I sat on my new bed and sighed. 'I miss my home.' I thought to myself as I laid down and my mom walked in. "Why don't you get some rest sweetie. You've had a long few days." I nodded my head and got under the covers. I closed my eyes and tried not to cry. After a few hours nap I got up and headed into the kitchen. "Why hello Sunshine? Did you have a good nap?" I nodded my head, "yes mam." She nodded her head and patted the couch.

"So tell me about life back home." She said calmly. "Well I have a big friend group and we all hang out a lot." She smiled and patted my leg. "It's always good to have a lot of friends, but be careful who you befriend." I nodded my head and sighed. "I do miss my friends though." She nodded her head and patted my leg again. "You'll make new ones, maybe even better ones." It hurt to hear those words but she was somewhat right. But I knew no one would be like Moon.
