Sarah smiled, seeing Bucky walk toward her with Steve at the Stark Expo. She glanced at the girl with her. Hopefully, the nurse would actually go for Steve. She wasn't as optimistic as Bucky.
"Wow, he's so handsome in his uniform." The girl said quietly.
"Yes, my husband definitely is handsome." Sarah replied.
The girl's face fell. "He's really married."
"Yes."
"I thought it was a joke." She replied. "That he was playing hard to get."
Sarah rolled her eyes, then giggled slightly as Bucky picked her up before kissing her hard.
"Well, hello, Seargent."
"Hello, Doll." Bucky replied, setting her down. "Steve, this is..." Bucky trailed off, trying to remember the girl's name.
"Victoria." She huffed.
"Right, Victoria. Victoria, this is Steve Rogers." Bucky stated, pushing Steve forward some before looking down at Sarah. "Settled into the house, okay?"
Sarah nodded, smiling. "Yeah, it's all set. Becca helped me."
Bucky smiled, then started walking with Sarah around the expo chuckling when she excitedly pulled him towards the stage Howard Stark was at.
Steve wandered off while everyone watched the show. He wanted to give recruiting one more shot.
The Next Day
Sarah smiled, looking up at Bucky. "Look at my handsome husband." She straightened his collar. "You be safe."
"Always am Doll. You keep Steve out of trouble."
"I'm not a child, Bucky. Also, I'm older."
"I'm aware." He pulled Sarah close and whispered low. "When I get back, we'll start trying for that baby."
Sarah nodded. "I'll hold you to that Sergeant." She replied before kissing him softly.
Steve rolled his eyes some. He will be glad to get away for a bit.
After Bucky boarded the train, Sarah took a breath and headed towards home.
"Where are you going?"
"Home." Sarah replied.
Steve rolled his eyes. "Probably gonna whore yourself out." He muttered.
Sarah gritted her teeth at the comment. "Would you like to join me for dinner?"
"No, I have to get ready to leave."
"Where are you going?"
"New Jersey." He replied, walking off.
Sarah sighed softly, happy he was leaving.
