The pups were in the lookout watching Apollo Chase kept glancing at Skye and when she turned to look at him he would look away and down
Marshall noticed This and rolled his eyes "Just confess already" Marshall thought
Chase then got up and walked outside to his usual spot where he would think about things or when he wanted to be alone no one really noticed he left
5 minutes later
Marshall then looked to his right where chase was but he wasn't there "what?" Marshall thought
Marshall then walked outside leaving the pups watching Apollo he looked around for a moment and saw chase by the cliff overlooking the sea "what is he doing?" Marshall muttered to himself he then started walking towards chase
Marshall then sat next to chase "hey brother" he said chase slightly jumped at the sound of Marshall's voice since he was deep in thought "oh hey Marshall" chase said as he looked at Marshall
"So what's wrong?" Marshall asked before he looked at chase
"Nothing I'm fine" chase said as he continued to stare into the endless abyss of open ocean
"I see...so when you gonna stop lying and tell me the truth" Marshall said
"I-I don't know" chase said before he looked down at the ground
"Skye?" Marshall asked as he raised an eyebrow at chase
Chase was now dumbfounded "How...did you know" he said
"I've known for a while that you have a thing for her and I saw you glancing at her in the lookout bro" Marshall said
"Wha-is it that obvious?" Chase said shocked
"Well...kinda" Marshall said
"Do you wanna talk about it?" Marshall asked
"N-Yes i do" chase said
"Okay then what's the problem how do you feel?" Marshall said
"I'm scared I guess of her rejecting me and-I don't know.." chase said before he sighed
"Okay go on" Marshall said
"And I just feel like she doesn't like me like that at all and...you know what Marshall I don't think I'm gonna tell her I don't have enough courage I'm a coward Marshall" chase said before he looked down and closed his eyes
"Okay bu-" Marshall was then cut off by chase
"Why would Skye even like a stupid pathetic coward of a pup like me I don't feel like officer chase the second in command I feel like chase the German shepherd" chase said
"Shut up" Marshall said with a straight face
"W-W-What?" Chase said slightly shocked from Marshall's words
"You wanna know why because you are a pup of action you are not a stupid pathetic coward pup you are a brave loyal confident pup and to be honest you are a really cool pup to hang with and most importantly your my best friend and brother and your just...chase Skye would be lucky to have you my guy"
"and your good looking" Marshall said
Chase didn't say anything he just nodded and suddenly a little smile cracked on his face he then hugged Marshall "thanks buddy" he said Marshall didn't say anything he just smiled
