It was early morning in adventure bay the sun was just rising as the cold morning breeze blew through the air
Chase was just about to wake up he and Everest were cuddled up through the whole night
Chases eyes then lazily opened he then looked around his puphouse and saw the husky he was cuddled up with he then smiled tiredly he got up slowly to not disturb the sleeping husky
He then opened his puphouse door and went outside and closed the door behind him instantly the cold breeze of wind hit against his fur he shivered slightly but got used to it quickly he then yawned and stretched he then looked to his right and saw the rising sun and smiled he was to walk to his spot by the cliff but suddenly he heard a sound from Marshall's puphouse
"Oh looks like Marshall's up what's he doing up so early?" Chase thought as he went toward the puphouse
He then knocked on his door......Marshall opened the door quickly as his eye twitched...the sight of Marshall startled Chase his eyes were red looking as if he never slept and his fur was ruff
"Marshall?! What happened to you bro?" Chase said taking a step back startled
"What do you want" Marshall said with a death glare
"Uh I was wondering if you wanted to watch the sunrise with me and uh just talk" Chase said still startled from the way Marshall looked
"How do you expect me to wanna talk to you after what you done?!" Marshall said in anger
"What did I do? I'm sorry for whatever it was..." Chase said
Marshall then started to chuckle "the fact that you don't even know what you did to me just makes me hate you more" Marshall said in a dark tone
"W-What?...you hate me? Bro...why" Chase said hurt and confused
"Don't call me "bro" if I was really like a brother to you you wouldn't have done what you did to me" Marshall said slamming the door in chases face
"Marshall come on let's talk about it" Chase said opening the door
"You know what Chase how about you just try it figure it out use that tiny brain of yours" Marshall said with anger slamming the door again
Chase then put his head down sadly and walked away he was hurt by the words the Marshall told him he was so hurt he didn't even wanna go to the cliff anymore but he knew he had to to figure out what he did to Marshall
He then got to the cliff and sat down looking at the ocean he closed his eyes and tried to think as hard as he could but it did no good he sighed and opened his eyes and continued to stare at the ocean "I don't get it...what did I do to him...okay come on Chase your supposed to be a police detective this should be easy..." Chase said to himself
He continued to think but his thoughts were cut short by him feeling something lean on his Side he jumped slightly but realized it was only Everest
"Oh hey sleepy head" Chase said with a small chuckle
"Hey...what are you up to?" Everest asked with a tired voice
"Urm nothing just admiring the view of all this" Chase lied pointing to the sunrise and the ocean
"Mmm yeah it looks nice" Everest said in a tired voice
