you ran back to the noodle shop you didn't know where else to go. your own home no not safe to you anymore as you rushed in and curled up in the backroom pigsy rushing after you wondering what had sent you into a panic.

You didn't answer. You just sat in the corner on the floor. Because if you told the truth, you would have to admit to them about what was going on. And they would feel betrayed and throw you put! Then you would be alone again.

And honestly, the thought of being alone? It hurt it was so painful to think about, so you just hid.

The group seemed to get the idea that you just needed space, but in reality, you really just wanted your little brother he would have sat next to you and quietly played his game telling you everytime he won.

Eventually, you opened up your eyes at the cracked tile you never could get fully clean no matter how hard you scrubbed.

You could hear them... talking whispering in the main area of the shop. You could hear them talking. Mk thought you had a meeting with the Bone demon. You didn't, but fair enough with how scared you had gotten it was a fair thing to bring up.

You stayed curled into your ball until Sandy eventually came in and just sat next to you. The blue giant settled in and offered a sense of comfort in his silence to the numbness that came into your mind with a sense of droning.

You took a slight look to him, and he had some tea he placed between you both slowly cooling down. It was so slowly curling steam into the air, offering a scent of something special that tinged the air with pure calm.

Clumsily, your tail wrapped around the cup in an attempt to pick it up but it only caused it to spill causing more of what ever emotion that clutched at the air in your lungs to squeeze tighter holding it hostage. Shoulders trembled, and tears you thought were long gone, came back.

"You ever fuck up so bad you think if it's ever found out everything will go away? All the good in your life is built on a lie, and if that lie is found out, everything falls apart?"

Your voice trembled as the burning feeling from the hot tea seeped into your fur on your tail, and you swear your shadow was just a bit too dark, a bit too sharp...

The violation you felt before came back, and you hid your face into your legs and arms again.

"You know sometimes telling the truth is the best way, and people will still be there for you," Sandy told you and you nodded and you kept hiding in your little world of your own.
