Gon had dates with many older women before, other than his aunt Mito. That's what Killua knew. But how is it that, with the same sentence, Retz knew more than Killua?

" - So, what you're telling me is that you've been molested. "

Gon's eyes widened. He was taken aback by Retz's reaction, way different from any reaction he'd faced before. 

" - What do you mean? He questioned. 

- Well, you've been, like... She took a second to find the right words before speaking. Uhm... Raped. 

- What's that? "

Retz stared in shock at Gon's tilted head. His face was one of confusion and innocence that sent a shiver of concern down her spine. She gulped. 

" - Gon. You had, well, a form of "intercourse" with these women, right? Gon nodded, shivering slightly. 

- With some of them. He added sincerely. 

- Did you want to have intercourse with them? She pursued. Gon shrugged. 

- Uh, yeah, I think. "

The blonde girl sighed deeply. This was going to be complicated but if it helped her friend come to realize what horrible acts he'd been victim of, she would do anything. 

" - What does it feel like? 

- What? Gon asked, confused. 

- What does it feel like? To "want" someone? Gon stayed silent for a second. 

- Uhm... I- I don't know. The first time I didn't even know what she was doing to me, I kind of just took it. 

- That's wrong! She exclaimed, and Gon jumped back. 

- What's wrong? He responded. 

- What she did to you! It's not supposed to be something you do against your will, or just to please! She sighed. How old were you, the first time that happened? Not that it changes anything to the act, she thought. 

- I don't know... Well it was before the exam so less than twelve. He stayed quiet for a minute. A lot less. 

- Oh God. "

Gon watched as Retz covered up her mouth, stuttering out a bunch of words he could not understand. He was confused, his head filling with a bunch of questions he'd never dare to spit out, and that were starting to make him feel dizzy. Before he could find the strength to speak, his friends breathed in, shaking slightly when putting her hands on his shoulders. 

" - Gon, look at me. Gon nodded, looking at Retz. Did you ever regret or felt disgust, or fear, or shame, or anything negative at the thought of what you've- what these women have done to you? "

Gon felt a wave of shame and sadness washing through his body at the painful memories. He finally nodded, Retz's eyes immediately softening, a look of pure understanding in her face. She took him in her arms in a way that only Mito had before. It felt comforting and soon enough, the tears that were unconsciously bothering his vision fell to her shoulder. Everytime Gon recalled these women, what they said or did more than their faces, a painful feeling grew in his stomach.
