Since Eleanor's and Louis's marriage was a big deal, the band's schedule had been moved back which meant they had a whole month of basically nothing. And a whole month of nothing was something Harry was not used to anymore. His days were always packed full of moving to different towns, concerts, interviews, hiding away from screaming fans and being in the recording studio. The other boys were all doing their own thing so Harry decided to have a day on his own. He was going to go visit his family,

Harry turned up the radio, letting the music pound in his ears. Things with Louis weren't getting better. Harry always felt the need to make some snark comment about Eleanor when they talked to each other. It was always at the tip of his tongue and always got out. It was a childish habit. Before, Louis would just laugh and brush it off but now he took it much more personally. Maybe it was just the stress of the whole thing because Louis was always on the edge. Maybe Louis thought it wasn't so noticeable but it was. Harry felt like he was doing something wrong. Like he was chasing Louis away. And that was one thing he dreaded most.

Harry felt weird just unlocking the front door and walking in. It wasn't a thing he did very often anymore. A wave of belonging swept over him. He was so glad to see his own house again. Everything was still exactly the same. Harry didn't know why but he had kind of expected it to be different. The coat hanger at the entrance was still the same old oak tree one. The light bulb used still looked exactly the same as he remembered. The pictures hanging in the lounge room where in the same exact positions. Even the floor was the same musky brown coloured wood.

It was only after when Harry realised his sister was standing there, leaning against the wall, waiting for him to turn around.

"Well, well, well. Look who showed up," Gemma snorted tipping her head with a smile.

"Hi Gemma," Harry replied rolled his eyes. The house was weirdly quite. "Where's mum and Rob?"

Gemma shrugged as she wandered into the living room. "They went out somewhere, I'm not sure where though." Harry followed his sister into the room and sat down on the couch. Even the couch felt the same. "Why? Do you miss mummy?"

"I need to talk to her about something."

"Well.... She's not going to be home anytime soon," Gemma sighed looking at her watch.

"I'll wait," Harry said simply before he got up to get himself a drink of water. There was an awkward silence. Harry wasn't that close with his sister. She was always way more mature even as a teenage girl and acted like an adult while he was always joking around.

They spent the next few hours sitting on the couch, watching TV and talking casually. Then Gemma finally pointed out the elephant in the corner.

"Okay Harry, mum's not going to be back and you won't be able to talk to her so why don't you talk to me instead. It's obviously quite important since you drove all the way here just to talk to her. You could've called her."

"It's not that important. I only drove here because I have nothing in my schedule at the moment and I missed home," Harry said looking down at his hands.

Gemma did not give up but leaned across the couch giving him a stern look. "Harry."

Harry did nothing but stare back at his older sister which started a staring contest. As a child, Harry always had staring contests with people and he never won.

"Harry, I'm your sister. You obviously need to get it out so say it." The curly haired boy looked into his sisters eyes searching for a sign of amusement but here was none. She seemed really sincere. Plus, he did need someone to talk to who was miles away from the drama. So why not?
