((A lot of dialogue and not that much description. OOops))
Harry was barely awake when his phone started ringing right next to his ear on the bedside table. He jolted awake with a gasp. The phone had given him a fright. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and gave a big yawn before answering his phone.
"Hello?"
"Morning Harry." It took a moment for Harry register who it was.
"Hi Niall."
"Did I wake you up?" Niall giggled in the phone. "Oops."
"What do you want?" Harry asked bluntly.
"We have a dance lesson thing for the wedding today."
Harry threw his arms up in the air. "And you didn't think it was important enough to mention last time we talked?" His voice heavy with sarcasm.
"One step at a time child," Niall said in a misty voice. It was obvious he was grinning from ear to ear. Harry shook his head.
Harry was irritated, he didn't want to practice some dance thing for the wedding. There was about a week and a half left before the wedding, wasn't it a little too late for this?
Plus, why hadn't Louis told him? They lived in the same house, but Niall was the one who had to call him to tell him that. Harry waved it all out of his head and stayed tucked in his bed.
He wasn't going anywhere for now.
--------------------------------------
"Good afternoon everyvun, my name iz Fernando Moss and I vill be teaching you some ballroom dancing steps. Zere vill be ze Cha Cha, Salsa and Samba if ve get to zat."
Harry couldn't help but zone out from the rest of whatever this Fernando guy was explaining. He looked like the stereotypical ballroom dancer. Gelled black hair with a little flick at the end, an European accent that Harry couldn't identify, fancy shoes that were far too shiny and a small goaty.
"Can you even understand him?" Monique whispered to Harry. He only grunted in response.
Harry was slightly annoyed. He wasn't much of a dancer though he did know some ballroom stuff but he didn't want to spend the next few days practicing this. He peeped over at Eleanor and Louis. Eleanor had her arms snaked around Louis's waist looking very excited, nodding and laughing to everything Fernando said even if the joke was really bad. Louis on the other hand was so not into it, you could just tell by his eyes. When ever Eleanor laughed, he gave a weak smile but it was only half hearted. It was obvious Louis wasn't concentrating on whatever Fernando was saying. Louis was the same as Harry, not wanting to be there. Harry watched Louis's eyes wander the room.
The room was pretty big and plain white. It had lights inserted in the ceiling and a mirror covering one side of the wall with a wooden bar along it.
Louis's eyes flickered to Harry. They held each others gaze for a few seconds. Maybe a few seconds too long. It was broken when Louis looked away and cleared his throat. Harry looked in the opposite direction to see Monique staring at Louis with a concentrated expression. It was like she was trying figure something out. She sensed Harry looking at her and flashed him a smile before looking around the room too.
Harry looked at everyone in the room. Liam was listening, Danielle was and so was Holly. Niall was looking uncomfortably around the room while Zayn and Perrie were having a finger fight behind their backs.
After Fernando finally stopped talking, they got into position to learn the steps. Harry actually concentrated this time, following every step correctly.
His concentration was interrupted at the sound of Eleanor giggling. He stopped mid step and turned around to watch the couple laugh as Eleanor kept stepping on Louis's foot. The thing that hit Harry was that Louis's laugh was real. He was having a great time. It had made Harry comfortable when he saw Louis acting like he didn't want to be here but now he was having fun with her. Acting like he wanted to be doing this.
It wasn't even forced, his smile wasn't fake. No matter how hard Harry tried to convince himself it the happiness wasn't real, he couldn't. He could see the wrinkles on the side of Louis's eyes as he laughed and danced with Eleanor. He could hear Louis's laugh in his head when Louis threw his head back in laughter. He cringed at how Eleanor laughed with her eyes closed as she leaned against Louis's chest, their fingers were intwined and up in the air so the whole world could see. Every moment was like a knife churning in his guts. Then the couple tumbled to the ground with a shriek of laughter. Harry didn't know why he kept watching. The sight of Eleanor lying comfortable on top of Louis was almost sickening.
He finally pried his eyes away from them to see Monique staring at him with soft smiley eyes.
"What?" Harry grumbled.
The dark haired girl didn't say anything but gave a sad smile. "You have-"
"Alright everyone! Again from ze top!" Fernando yelled clapping his hands. The music started again and Harry got back into position. He tried ignoring the laughs and shrieks of Eleanor and Louis but soon just got used to it. He just concentrated on his steps and let the music his head. The stab wound hurting less and less every time.
Even though Harry tried his best not to, he still couldn't help but glance at Eleanor and Louis every now and then. Sometimes, Louis would catch him looking. But they wouldn't hold each others gaze like they did before, Harry would just look away as quickly as possible even thought he'd already been caught. And Louis would carry on like Harry wasn't there.
After a while, Fernando announced a fifteen minute break. Everyone sat down on the floor and ate or drank. Niall walked up to Harry before sitting down next to him. Niall leaned back on his hands and kicked his legs out in front of himself.
"Holly's gone so I have no one to dance with."
"Oh. Well at least you don't have to dance."
"Well I should because I suck and I need to get it right," Niall whined lifting one leg and crossing it over onto the other.
"No need to fear, Daisy's coming so I'll help Niall because you need help and you Harry can dance with Daisy." Monique interrupted sliding in between the middle of the two boys. Harry stared blankly at the girl. Monique gave a wave of the hand. "Don't worry, she's good at dancing. You're in safe hands. "
Niall pointed a finger at Harry and made a delightful sound which was between a shriek and a laugh.
Monique looked and Niall and then fluffed Harry's hair before getting up and walking away. Harry gathered his hair into his hands and gave a quiet moan.
"Good luck mate," Niall laughed giving Harry two pats on the shoulder.
Harry expected the worst when Daisy stepped through the door all dressed up and looking professional. But after a few minutes of dancing with her, Harry realised dancing with Daisy wasn't actually that bad. He'd underestimated Monique's words. Daisy was good at dancing and dancing with her was fun. She might not have the best personality but she was fun, and that's why Holly and Monique were friends with her.
After while, Harry was smiling again, he forgot about Louis and Eleanor. That wasn't even his fucking problem; and when Fernando told the two to do a demonstration of the dance steps to everyone, Harry couldn't help but feel satisfied by the grim look on Louis's face.
