A/N: Hello all~
(^o^)/
So this is my second book, but the first one of this ship and a poly relationship! I hope you all enjoy it!
I am growing as I write for you all! Thank you so much in advance ~ 🙇🏻♀️"DIE! YOU FUCKING SON OF A CRIMINAL! HOW DARE YOU SHOW YOUR FACE AROUND HERE, DAMN NERD?!"
Bakugo screamed as he kicked Izuku in the gut.
"Ugh!"
Izuku grunted at the strong impact of the kick.
It was a Sunday morning with gentle weather, and Izuku's day was just starting. Getting beaten by Bakugo had been a part of his morning routine for the past six years now.
Others were involved as well, but Izuku couldn't care less. It's just that... whenever it came to Bakugo, he couldn't help but remember the times when they had been best friends, when he used to be the boy of Izuku's dreams.
Izuku had admired that bombastic boy for as long as he could remember, and even now, he couldn't bring himself to unlove him, let alone hate him.
"Pathetic..."
Was the last thing Bakugo said before delivering a final blow to his ribs and leaving him in that ditch.
'It hurts...'
Izuku thought as he felt a pang of pain race through his body.
He was lying on his side, scrunched up into a ball, still covering his face with his injured arms. His clothes were torn in places, and he was covered in mud and shoe prints.
He was exhausted due to the beating Bakugo and his friends had given him. He rolled over onto his back and let out a huge sigh as he relaxed his tense limbs.
"Ack -"
The area near his ribs ached as his chest rose when he inhaled deeply, probably because of the powerful punch that Bakugo had landed very close to his diaphragm. Even breathing was proving to be difficult for the little greenette.
Every part of his body felt sore, as if boulders had fallen on top of him.
"Ah, shit... it's gonna bruise..."
He murmured to himself as a tear slowly made its way down his cheek.
"Why? Why me?"
He tried to silently cry away his pain, but he was failing miserably. The physical pain was something he was used to by now. However, seeing the boy who was once his savior stomp all over him, along with the others, every day was taking a huge toll on him.
Every time he thought it couldn't hurt more, he was proven wrong the very next day.
The crimson eyes that once looked at Izuku with nothing but love now held pure disgust and hatred for him. The voice that called his name ever so gently just hurled curses at him now. There was a time when only Izuku was blessed to see Bakugo's tender nature, but now he was a victim of his worst side.
Bakugo had emotionally damaged Izuku. His past self had died the day Bakugo turned against him six years ago.
'Why did it turn out this way?'
Izuku thought bitterly as he looked up at the sky. The sun was bright but not enough to blind the eye, and the blue in the sky was perfectly distributed.
"The weather is so... beautiful..."
He let out a deep sigh as the light began fading, and he fell into a deep slumber.
*TIME SKIP* 1 HOUR LATER ~
Izuku's eyes fluttered open as the sun was now above him. His head was aching as he tried to sit himself up.
