(*'∇`)ノONE WEEK LATER~
'I'll have to talk to him today.'
Bakugo reminded himself as he slowly put on a new set of clothes his father had brought him from home. He was supposed to be discharged today, but that didn't mean he could be careless about his injury. He had multiple scars on his arms and torso, but a few of them had to be stitched. He really had made a mess of himself.
He walked out of the hospital with his hands in the pockets of his red and orange sweatshirt, which he had paired with black joggers and white sports shoes. Pretty normal. His father, Masaru, was walking behind him with all his health reports.
They reached their car, which Masaru had parked outside the hospital, and sat inside before Masaru turned to face Katsuki.
"Come on, Kat, let's get you home."
Masaru said, smiling as he held his son's slightly bigger hand and squeezed it reassuringly.
"Yeah, old man, let's go. I'm sick of this damn smell."
Katsuki said in a low voice. Masaru started the car and began their drive back home.
The ride was silent for most of the time; however, halfway through, Bakugo finally spoke.
"Hey, old man, take me to school."
Masaru's ears perked up at this.
'Why the school?'
Katsuki's father had become very protective of his son over the last week. He had developed a habit of internally questioning every decision his son would make.
'Should I let him go?'
He asked himself yet again as his eyebrows furrowed with slight tension.
"Don't worry, I won't be trying some stupid shit like this again."
Bakugo tried his best to ease his father as well as himself. He had an idea of what he was doing now, and he had roughly planned how he was going to approach Izuku in the week he had spent at the hospital.
"Promise me you won't try to jump off the roof of the building."
Bakugo chuckled at his father's words, which amused Masaru. He had never had the privilege of seeing this sweet, gentle side of his son before today.
"I am not sick in the head! You gotta believe me, stupid old man!"
Bakugo was smiling as he spoke in a loud voice, which for once wasn't sounding like he was shouting or yelling. He was just... talking.
"Ok, ok."
Masaru drove the boy to school and told Bakugo to call him when he was ready for a ride back home.
'I just have to wait for fifteen more minutes before the school is over... Shit! I'm nervous.'
*TIME SKIP* 20 MINUTES LATER~
Bakugo had gone inside the building as soon as the bell had rung and was waiting for his class to empty out for the past five minutes. He wouldn't admit it, but he was extremely anxious about talking to him.
'I really hope he isn't weirded out or anything like that...'
Bakugo waited until his target was the only person left in the class. He walked up to him and stood in front of his desk, waiting for the other person to notice his presence.
