Vidhi's POV
I was checking my emails, when I got a notification that Sharma Industries had accepted my resume and called me for an interview today at 9 am. I was on the ninth cloud because Sharma Industries is a reputed company in India.
"Mom, do you know?" I exclaimed
"What sweetie? What happened?"
"Mom, I have an interview at Sharma Industries at 9 am sharp"
"Wow" she hugged me
"Go, sweetie get ready and all the best" she kissed my forehead
"Thank you mom"
I freshened up and tied my hair in a ponytail. I paired a black shirt with a gray pencil skirt and black heels, and did a little makeup. I took a cab and reached there on time.
The company was huge. It was written SHARMA INDUSTRY in giant letters. I got in and walked to the receptionist
"Good morning mam, how can I help you?"
"Good morning, I have an interview with Mr. Sharma. Can you tell me where his cabin is?"
"Sorry to say that Mr. Sharma is out of town. Mr. Mehra will take your interview. His cabin is on the 2nd floor"
"Okay thank you so much"
"Most welcome mam"
She seems sweet. I hope I get selected in this company. I went to the 2nd floor while praying to God. There was a cabin and the name was Mr. Mehra. I knocked on the door
"May I come in sir"
"Yes, come in"
When I entered the cabin, I saw the cutest boy ever. His messy hair falling on his eyes making him more cute, his deep green eyes and his smile was so attractive. Focus Vidhi focus you are in front of your boss behave.
"Good morning sir"
"Good morning, you are Vidhi right Vidhi Patel" he grinned lightly
"Yes, sir"
"Sit"
"I checked your qualifications and achievements and I am impressed, so why do you want to work with us?"
"Sir, I want to work with this company because it allows me to be a part of the company's culture that values teamwork, collaboration and open communications"
"Well I am impressed, and you are hired" he smiled sweetly at me
"Thank you sir"
"You can come from tomorrow"
"Okay sir"
I left his cabin. He is so charming, any girl can fall for him. Finally, I got a job I'm so happy. I returned to home
"Mom, I got the job" I hugged her
"Wow, congratulations sweetie, I'm so happy for you my sweetheart"
"Thank you mom"
In the evening I thought about going to a cafe. So I went to a cafeteria which was the nearest to my place. When I was going with an order, suddenly I bumped into someone.
"Oh omg I..I am so sorry, I was looking somewhere else"
"No no it's okay... Vidhi!" he smiled
"Sir!!"
"Don't call me sir in public. You can call me Varun"
"Oh okay sir... I mean V..arun"
"Hmm that's better" we laughed
"Come let's sit. Would like to drink coffee with me?"
"Ya sure"
"So, you always come here" he asked me while taking sip of his coffee
"Ya actually, this is my go to place. Whether I'm happy or sad I come here often" I said smiling
"Oh wow, even I come here whenever I feel low or happy, we have so much in common!"
"Ya for sure"
We drank coffee with light conversation. It was a pleasure talking to him. His nature is so sweet, so he is, such a gentleman.
We exchanged our numbers, he offered me a drive. But I refused because my house was not so far from this cafe. We bit bye each other and went to our respective houses.
