"Why did you choose here...?" Bonnie asked.

Freddy took his paw and guided him forward. "There is something I want you to see."

In all honesty, he had something else on his mind. He had been writing and journaling a lot while he was stranded with Bonnie. The bunny always plagued his thoughts, and he even wrote a song dedicated to him.

It was meant to stay a draft and never be heard, but Freddy wanted to show Bonnie just how much he meant to him.

This garden seemed to be the most romantic place to do so. They walked down the path and admired the scenic atmosphere. As they were walked down a few steps, something caught Bonnie's eye.

"Wait, could you lift me again?" He asked.

Freddy nodded, wrapping his arms around the bunny's hips and pulling him up. He watched as Bonnie picked a flower from the tree on their right side and set him down again. It was a beautiful red-orange tropical flower with many sharp petals.

Before Freddy could ask why he wanted it, the bunny leaned forward and meticulously placed the flower on Freddy's right ear so it would stay. He stepped away and smiled.

"The orange brings out your eyes." He complimented. Freddy grew embarrassed rather quickly.

"M-my eyes are... alright, I suppose..." He stated nervously. He mentally slapped himself for how awkward he must have sounded. Thankfully, Bonnie found it endearing laughed as they continued walking.

"Your eyes are so magical... they're like sapphires! Or the sea..." Bonnie complimented.

"... I wish I had eyes like that."

Freddy was quick to argue. "Do not say that! You have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen!"

When they made eye contact and Freddy got to see his sparkling crimson irises again, the bear grew nervous and toned down his excitement.

After a few seconds of surprise, Bonnie smiled to himself at the compliment and turned away shyly to hide the heat rising to his cheeks.

Freddy finally found a balcony for them to stand on. He guided Bonnie to the edge and gestured for him to look.

"This is what I wanted you to see."

The bunny pulled himself over the small wall and brought his knees up to sit his full weight onto it. He stared in awe at the view from the cliff side. He could see the moon and stars so clearly and the colorful lights of the village on the ground by the sparkling dark sea.

"... It's beautiful, Freddy..." He breathed out in amazement. The bear stepped away from him and reached for his pocket journal in the satchel he carried. He hurriedly flipped to the right page while Bonnie's back was turned. When he found it, he took a deep breath to steady himself.

"Actually... there was something else I needed to tell you."

Bonnie turned to him curiously. He scooted his body so his legs dangled off the wall to face Freddy and gave him his full attention.

"I... I always thought love was just arranged... That your partner would be picked out, and you would learn to love each other... but,"

"...after I met you... I know that's not true."

"You are always on my mind... everything about you is so perfect to me... even when we do not get along, or I'm frustrated with you... I still love you. I'd still take a bullet for you..."

He did not pay attention to Bonnie's reaction yet because he knew it would throw off his confidence.

"I... cannot put into words how much I value you, but... I hope this will."

He looked down at the paper once, but he knew the words already, having written it himself. He closed his eyes and began singing:

"Oh the moon in the sky...
Shines so bright, so it might,
But will it keep me warm through the night...?"

"Oh the waves hit the bay,
And the stars come to play,
But will that sunshine in my heart stay....?"

"Through the coldest nights, I need a light,
I need someone to be my sight.
Won't you stay with me... ?

And as we gaze at the sea,

...will you promise me forever....?"

He stopped and finally glanced at Bonnie. The man had stood up already, and his paws covered his mouth in shock.

Freddy knelt down and smiled as Bonnie approached slowly.

"I want you to be a part of my life... forever. Do you feel the same -?"

He held his breath as he waited for Bonnie's response. He felt as though his heart would stop from the tension. If Bonnie rejected him, he was not sure what he'd do.

To his relief, a smile formed on Bonnie's face, and he laughed emotionally. He nodded in response, which gave Freddy the answer he needed. He felt a surge of excitement and stood up to meet eyes with Bonnie.

The bunny leaned forward for a kiss, but Freddy surprised him.

He wrapped his arm around Bonnie's waist and dipped him, causing him to yelp in surprise.

They both laughed, far too happy to care. They leaned in, and their lips finally met again.

It felt like their first kiss, but so much better. They knew each other more and cared deeply for one another. It made the feeling so much nicer. They felt complete again.

They pulled away suddenly at the sound of a man yelling.

He was armed with a gun and ordered them off the property. Bonnie grabbed Freddy's paw and hurried towards the ledge of the balcony. The dirt hill below was steep.

"A-are you sure this is a good idea?!" Freddy asked in concern.

"What else are we supposed to do?!" He retorted. When they heard a warning shot, they quickly slipped themselves off.

They were sent sliding and tumbling down the hill that was thankfully rather small. When they landed again, Bonnie broke into a fit of laughter. Freddy could not help but join in.

"Are you okay??" Freddy asked mid-laugh. Bonnie nodded quickly and calmed himself down.

He wrapped his arms around Freddy's neck and pulled him into a longer kiss.
