Yet, beneath her voluble exterior, she remains an ordinary 14-year-old girl, with aspirations of living the freedom she yearns.
What we yearn for, in common with many others, is the opportunity to cross paths with individuals who exist solely within the realm of imagination.
In an astonishing turn of events, Mélodie found herself sprawled upon the bed of a character whose identity remains shrouded in intrigue, as shall become apparent in subsequent chapters. This character is renowned for being as blind as justice.
He informs her that she will be dispatched to inhabit the abode of a much more malevolent figure, accompanied by three other young souls, due to her obscure origin.
Despite the gravity of the situation, she harbors a clear understanding of what must be done.
