We've been on the road for over 10 minutes and yet no words were exchanged.

I kept shuffling on my seat, my nerves feeling like it was about to explode.

I kept biting my lips out of nervousness. Occasionally, I would feel Dante's eyes rest on me, and I would stiffen up which made him sigh.

When we reached a red-light sign, he turned his whole focus on me, and I fidgeted with my fingers.

''Are you not comfortable around me?''.

He asked, looking a bit sad. The last thing he wanted was for me to feel uncomfortable around him.

''Of course not. Why would you think that?''. I asked back in confusion.

Where did that even come from?

''You've been shuffling since the ride started, it's been stressing me out''.

My heart fluttered a bit at his cute confession. How can someone so cold looking be so cute?

I smiled at him softly. ''You don't make me uncomfortable, Dante. I'm sorry I had you so stressed out. It's not your fault, I promise. It's just that... I'm a bit-''

''Nervous?''. He cut me off politely and I nodded my head slowly.

I'm so pathetic. Dante visibly relaxed before taking my hands in his and griped it softly.

I gasped at the signals that ran through my veins and I looked at him.

''It's okay to be nervous, it's not a bad thing. Just relax for me, okay? The last thing I need is you being stressed out''.

I gaze into his eyes as blush slowly crept on my cheeks and he chuckled at my reaction.

''O-okay''. I mumbled before looking away.

He smiled and let go of my hand when it turned green, and I became even more shy when he mumbled 'so cute' to himself.

I took a glance at him before smiling to myself.

After what felt like minutes, we drove into a huge parking lot.

I frowned when we passed all the car spaces before widening my eyes when he drove into a private space to park.

He came out of the car, opening the door for me and holding out his hand for my reach.

I sent him a soft smile before grabbing my purse and taking his hand, feeling the same signals running through my veins.

He placed one hand on my back and led me into a huge restaurant that probably cost my whole college fees.

A waiter came to us, holding a little booklet.

''Welcome, Mr. Brambilla. Reservation for two?''. He silently nodded, holding me close.

I took a look around the restaurant, admiring the expensive and unique design, unaware of the eyes that were on us.

When I realized the eyes that were looking, I frowned. Some even started murmuring to themselves, mostly pointing at me.

I started to feel self-conscious, and I fisted my hands.

Dante noticed the stares from everyone and grew a bit frustrated, taking my hand in his.

''Right this way, sir''.

Dante held my waist close to his as we made our way through the hall, and I started to feel insecure.

What are they staring at? Is my outfit bad? We entered an elevator and the waiter tapped on buttons I paid no attention to.

I felt a tap on my waist, and I turned to a worried looking Dante. I sent him a reassuring smile and he visibly relaxed.

The elevator opened and the waiter led us to a door and stopped.

''Have a good night, sir''. He said and silently made his way back downstairs. I turned back to Dante only to see him giving me a smile and my stomach erupt, again.

''I want you to do something for me, okay?''. He said and slowly gets behind me.

''What are you doing?''. I asked in confusion, turning back to see what he was doing, and he turns my head back.

''May I cover your eyes?''. I realized what he wanted to do, and I smiled shyly.

''Okay''. He gently placed his hands on my eyes, and I held it as well. Don't ask why, reflex.

He gently led me to the door, opening it and wind touches my skin, making me shiver a bit.

''Can I look now?''. I asked in anticipation.

''Move forward a bit''. He whispered in my ear gently and I bit my lip. Lord, why is he so sexy?

I take a few steps forward and stop. He carefully removed his hands from my eyes, and I open them.

When I did, I gasped loudly and covered my mouth in surprise. It was a rooftop dinner.

White lights were hung across the balcony. Pink and white flowers were filled by the sides of every corner.

It had a black couch at the right side of the rooftop with two white pillows.

Finally, the table was covered in a pink cloth and had white petals on the table with a pink rose at the center.

Dante nervously tapped my shoulder. ''Do you like it?''.

I scoffed at his words and turned around. He looked at me with unreadable eyes, nervous even.

''Dante, I have no words for this''. I said with all honesty, almost tearing up.

No man had ever done this for me before. Heck, they never put in this much effort just for the first date, talk more of the usual ones.

''So, you like it?''. He asked again, making sure he didn't hear wrongly.

''Are you for real? I love it so much''. I said happily while looking around and he sighed out the air he held in before smiling back at me.

''You scared me for a moment. I'm glad you like it. Come, let's sit down''. He said and took my hands in his, leading me to the table and held out a chair for me to sit.

I thanked him, adjusting myself while he also took a sit, gazing at me softly.

I was still in awe, looking around the rooftop with a full heart. So much pink in one place. I pause and turned to him.

''Why didn't you use red?''.

He sent me the softest smile I've ever received, and I thanked God I wasn't standing.

''Because pink is your favorite color''. He responded softly. How did he know? I never told him that.

''I asked Reina if you're wondering''. Of course, she told him. That girl is always so ahead in everything.

''Why?''. I asked in genuine curiosity.

He gazed at me softly before gently taking a hold of my hand on the table and softly caressing it.

''I wanted to make it special for you. Red is too common to use for a rare beauty like you, so a change was needed''.

I broke into a shy giggle, looking downwards. What's with all the praises tonight? It's making me act like a teenager in love.

''you're adorable when you blush''. He spoke again, adding to it and I responded.

''I'm not blushing''. Such a stupid lie it was because he only chuckles loudly at my state.

I raise my head and see him looking at me softly. I'm so happy I agreed to this.
