Chapter 6

TWO FIGURES one tall and one small, slowly walked under the rising sun at noon. Although, it's already at noon, it's windy, and it's wasn't hot nor humid. The sunlight wasn't that hot to cause immediate sunburn to people who rarely goes out.

This is one of the reason why a certain person named Eli thankful for, since he was used to his hometown, particularly country, with a temperature of 40°C and above, every noon around 11 AM to 2PM, he was always dying. Even the wind coming from the electric fan hurt his skin, it's also hot.

Anyway, these two people are barefooted that Eli felt uncomfortable, however, he didn't mind it at this time. The two were silent, each have something in their mind.

"Then, trouble you to help me build a tent." It was Eli who broke the silence.

There was no choice actually, he's well aware about this tribe's situation. And since he was rescued by Chaos, under his and Clan Witch's care, he was automatically a White Tiger Tribe's member.

Of course, there was no problem with him living in the tent, it's just that it will really be inconvenient if rainy day comes. What Eli was thankful for is that the rainy day can be presumed to be predictable, unlike in Earth which may also be caused by climate change, the White Tiger Tribe will be instantly aware and immediately evacuate to the large cave.

Eli assumed that, that cave is the tribe's evacuation center. Anyway, don't mind him and his thoughts that is pure nonsense.

Chaos was still surprised with Eli's decision, although it is expected. But if Eli wants to live in the cave, he's willing to fight to build one. Fight, because obviously, with the unreasonable Clan Leader, it might be hard to get the Patriarch's permission.

But if Eli wants to continue living with the Clan Witch, then let him be, he will just work for the future problems and rumors that will spread if something happen.

Eli looked up to Chaos who didn't speak to see his reaction, and when he saw the surprise in his eyes, Eli couldn't help but chuckles as he lightly slap the man's arm, "What? I have no choice, isn't it? There's no problem with me living in the tent, as long as I have a place to live."

Chaos came back to his senses with Eli's light pat on his arm, his wandering mind already came to the point of him building Eli's tent beside his, and being his (E) 'good neighbor.'

"Yeah, then... Where do you plan to live, I mean which place do you like?" Chaos asked in panic.

Eli was confused with Chaos's panic but he couldn't think of a reason why, he stared at Chaos and answered, "I really want to live near the water source... But it's a hundred meter away from here"

It's not dangerous to live near the water source like river during summer, but not in the case of rainy season. As there is a possibility of river to overflow and cause floods.

"But I want it to be not really near nor too far. Just have a little distance, since... " Eli halted when he thought that during rainy season, the White Tiger Tribe have to evacuate into the large cave, and that includes him as a new member of the said tribe.

"Forget it, just somewhere that is convenient to live. I'm fine with it" he gestured his hand and because he felt that the sun started to burn his skin, he walked faster to shed under the tall trees nearby.

Chaos quickly caught up as hurriedly recommend himself, "If Eli wants to live near the water source, my house is near the river, but it still far from it and take you for a while in a walking distance"

When the two reach the shed of the trees above their heads, it covers them from the burning sunlight and provide them a ventilation. The cool wind under the trees smoothened Eli's frowning eyebrows.
