Lighting turned out okay, shading isn't the best work but I drew this in like 30 minutes so it's a bit rushed. I had an old concept about how Elena would look if she merges with the time blades. I took that design and turned it into her dragon form. I know it doesn't really look like a dragon, I was more looking at angel paintings for inspiration.
In Crystalized, at first she refused to take off her vengestone necklace off. After having it on for so long, she believe that necklace was the only thing holding her back her alt ego of the empress and the voices of it in her head telling her to return to though ways.
But after seeing how much damage the overlord was causing, she saw she really didn't have a choice. So she took off her necklace,and to her surprise nothing happened. She really thought she might had gone mad without the necklace. But she didn't feel any different, she didn't want to cause harm to anyone. She felt fine, and with that she was able to unlock her dragon form, using her powers for the first time sense the ice chapter.
She knew she was truly beginning to forgive herself. Moving on from what happened in the Never Realm. In her eyes using her powers to help destroy the overlord, she was on her way to earn redemption.
