Background: Asuka grew up in a very wealthy family in Japan. Her mother was a famous actress and her father was a lawyer.
Her mother was very strict with her, making sure she was on her best behavior. Teaching her to be a proper lady, making her enroll in beauty pageants and making sure she had straight A's at her private school. Asuka always felt like her mother was watching over her shoulder, terrified to disappoint her. She had always loved the beach and the ocean, wanting to work as a fisherman, but her mother harshly disagreed with that.
