988,902 people died in a week; families perished as a result of the death of one man. It affected everyone when the devil died. Nobody anticipated this, all of humanity were astonished when it happened. The deadly sin known as envy was killed when the it was envious of his power and tried to over take him. Everything happened so quickly that people were unsure of what to do. Once everyone had their bearings, people started to regrouped and reorganised into their own groups with their own ideologies.
Some formed raider parties while others formed police states in their town. But not the the people of Plymp they decided that they should try and focus on defeating the hoards of demons. Everyone that lived in Plymp stayed, Plymp is a town famous for its exports of cheese and lemonade. Everyone gathered their thoughts and voiced their worries once they arrived at the town hall. When it first happened, people were worried about the impact it would have on the world and their families. After gaining some composure, the towns people devised a strategy for surviving and defending the town.
They decided that the best course of action is to immediately set up defence's walls, turrets and a moat. Anything to ensure the towns safety, they wanted to set up a haven for all surrounding areas in case of further chaos. Plymp has to be the light at the end of the tunnel, people need hope that somewhere out there people are standing against the forces of hell...
Chapter 2 A safe heaven:
The guards are highly trained and equipped to handle any potential threats that may arise, ensuring the safety of all residents within Plymp. Additionally, Plymp offers various resources and services, such as counselling, job placement assistance, and educational programmes, to empower its members and help them rebuild their lives. Every guard carries a knife called Death's Kiss and a gun called the Peacemaker. Deaths kiss and the Peacemaker were designed to kill tier 4 demons and they're part of the mandatory equipment for every guard and patrol officer.
There are several age groups within the town's population, including adults, teens, children, and elderly. The three groups—the science group, the labour group, and the army group—are then formed from each age category. The town's mayor instructed all schools to make an effort to place every teenager in the group that best suited their abilities and physical characteristics. B.A.E. and the mayor believed that concentrating on those three areas would be beneficial for all people, as opposed to teaching subjects unimportant to society, such as acting for amusement, creative writing, creative writing, or music.
Most of the neighbouring towns died out or they became raider territory. Those who become guards and patrol officers are trained to deal with both tier 4 demons and raiding parties. They don't tend to be major problems as the guard and patrol teams deal with them on a weekly bases. The patrol team captain known as jack wants to take down the raider group known as the ones god abandoned. They were the ones who killed jacks son and they're the main raider group that Plymp deals with.
Chapter 3 Myth or Fact? B.A.E's hunt for the goat man:
People are not sure if the goat man is real or if it is just an old wives story, but he has always been a part of Plymp's folklore. It's a hot topic in Plymp; some bring up the fact that the devil has created animal-human hybrids in the past. Supporters of the hoax theory of the goat man believe that it is merely a tale meant to keep children out of the woods at night. The former mayor sponsored a search team for the B.A.E organisation to look for signs of the goat man while he was still living. They finally locate enough proof to prove that the goat man is real, after days of looking for hints.
The pope is aware that the devil attempted to create some animal-human hybrids. Some were employed, such as Mike the rabbit man and the purgatory-ruling cat girls. However, they shouldn't cause issues like the goat man does. The Pope was approached by a teenager who wanted to know what the goat man did and why he was viewed as such a danger. The pope explains that he appears to act as a diversion to prevent Plymp or B.A.E from becoming excessively powerful. He is now listed as a bounty on the local bounty board, and anyone who provides information or leads about him to the pope or B.A.E. will receive two days off.
Unfortunately, everyone is so preoccupied with ensuring Plymp's daily survival that they hardly have time to search for him or any leads to his base of operations. Guards and patrol teams are instructed to keep a closer look out for him. In addition to receiving the two vacation days promised on the bounty board, they will be promoted.
