LUKE

A lot of things were running through my head at this moment.  I was beyond stressed,  I was beyond being angry, and I was beyond mortified with myself and the words I threw in Dakota's face.  How could I feed her something so false?

"Dammit." I curse myself, and pull on my hair.  I pinched the bridge of my nose and sighed.  I was so pissed off right now, I couldn't even think straight.  She was mad at me for something, and I didn't even give her a chance to explain what the hell was going on.

My words echoed in my head.
'I never wanted you'

It was the biggest lie I ever let slip out of my mouth.  I wanted to Dakota so badly it physically hurt me to even think about using her.  I wanted her to be mine, but I had to take her safety into consideration.  If I disobeyed Andrew anymore he would surely take everything I ever cared about away again.  He knows how I feel about Dakota, he knows it will kill me.

"Oh my God, what have I done." I groan as I kick the side of my car.  "I'm such a fuck up."

"Luke?  Dude, are you okay?" My eyes snap up to the familiar red head as she made her way to me.  "Ashton's been trying to call you.  He's blowing my phone up." She held up her cell phone and showed me the missed calls and text messages.

Just seeing her angered me.  How dare she try to talk to me?  How dare she try to act like everything is alright when she intentionally betrayed my best mate.

"What the fuck do you want Katherine?" I glare at her, using her full name froze her in her place.  She stood still and dropped her phone.

"Luke?  Are you okay?" She said quietly.

"How dare you face me, Kat?" I growled.  I know I'm taking my anger out on her, but I didn't care.  "How can you even talk to Ashton, little alone look at him, knowing what you did would absolutely shatter him to pieces?" I spoke calmly.  Her eyes grew widely, first shock, then fear, and ending with anger.

"What the fuck." She said lowly.  "She told you."

"No."  I said, and stood straighter.  "I was there.  I saw you, you whore." I stared at her.  She cringed and shut her eyes, and sighed.

"Luke-"

"No.  You're killing my best mate.  My brother."  I breathed out heavily.  I was so angry at everything right now, but I only focused on Ashton's pain created by this monster of a girl in front of me.  "I can't believe you."

"Listen please!  I- I don't know what to do."  She cried out and pulled at her red hair.  "Please, Luke." She begged.

"You're going to tell him.  I don't care what you say.  He is going to know.  Whether it's from you, or me." I threatened.  Her face hardened and she took a step forward.

"Why can't you just mind your own business." She said.  "My problems are my problems.  God knows you have your own problems.  Probably worse than mine."  She cocked her head to the side.  I knew what she was getting at.  "What do you think our poor Dakota thinks when she finds out what your doing behind her back?  Putting her in danger as well?" She raised a perfect eyebrow at me and jabbed at my chest.  I took a step back, my body was shaking with anger and she prodded my body with her nail.

"Tell Ash , and I'll spill to Dakota and she'll know your secret." She growled.  "I promise you on that one." She took a step back and straightened her self up.  "Got it?"  She was just as evil and she was pretty.

"Got it." I swallowed.  The pain in my chest was tight, and unbearable.  I was torn.  Letting this go on between Kat and Ashton, or keeping my horrible life choices away from Dakota.
