______________________________CONFUSING AS HELL____________________________
Despite Luke and I's personal conversation, our night was not awkward. We talked more afterward, and I honestly learned a lot about him.
Like for one, he's a real softy, he's obsessed with Josh Ramsay, he hates sprinkles, and he wants to be in a band.
And to be honest, being caught up in all of this, really put my thoughts aside for the moment. I really didn't think about all the bad stuff in my life at the moment, just Luke. Just Luke. We got closer, and that's a good thing.
He actually ended up passing out next to me after hours of talking about useless nonsense. Which, quite frankly, I was perfectly fine with tonight. But, right now I was being suffocated under the weight of Luke's body.
"Oh my God, Luke, scoot the fuck over!" I groan, trying to push the giant giraffe of a boy over to the other side of the bed, since he made the decision to claim mine in the middle of the night. "Jesus." I sigh and begin to prod at his face. He just scrunched up his nose and rolled over again. Crushing my legs again.
"Ugh." I roll my eyes. "Luke!" I yell.
"What?" He groans, his voice rasping with sleep in it.
Dear God.
"Get up." I swallow. He's so hot.
"Shut up and sleep."
"Luke." I say sternly, but he ignores me.
"Get softer," He says and rolls off of me. "Seriously, you're hard as a rock, Dakota." He rubs his neck and sits up, exposing his bare back. I swallow again.
"Is that your way of telling me to get fat?" I raise my brows at him. He grins at me.
"Yes." I push at his arm.
"Ow!" He laughs. "Jerk."
"You're going to think jerk, now get off of me, you cow!"
"Alright, fine! I'll move!" Luke says, removing his weight off my legs, and freeing me. "Happy?" He looks back at me with a look of defeat.
"Yes, asshole."
"Whoa, name calling." He laughs, lifting his hands up in surrender. "Who crapped in your cornflakes."
"Lucas." I stare him down, you know, the 'Look'. "Shut up."
"Seriously, Koda, what's wrong?" He sat up, and scooted closer.
"You know, last night...sucked." I place my head in my hands and rub my temples as the memories of last night flooded back into my brain. "Oh boy."
"It....wasn't that bad." Luke said. He smiled cheekily, and melted my chest into mush.
"But it was...." I counter, giggling and flopping my head back on the pillow. "And you're not exactly a blanket."
Luke chuckled and nodded. "I was comfortable, and plus, the whole night wasn't that bad." he laid back down beside me on his back.
"What was good about it? My date was on booty-watch, I sat in the cold, after getting lost. And I have a killer headache. Plus, I'm really hungry." I complain. "So tell me, just tell me at least one good part about it."
