Not so perfect morning

Everything was perfect last night I was so sure I was really In love from just the small things he did. That's how you really know.
"Sammmyyyyy I'm hungry" I whined "we should go out to eat"
"Abbie?" He mumbled with his face still into the pillow "we can't do that people will think I'm dating you again"
My face dropped "um what?"
"Shit I'm sorry did you think we were going to get back together? Nothing happened last night from what I can remember"
"No your right" I managed to say holding back the tears I felt stinging my eyes "Um I'm actually going to shower now so you can let yourself out." I walked straight into the bathroom and slammed the door shut. Shit. Why am I so stupid to think it would be good again I thought I thought and I thought but was wrong. I thought wrong. That's the thing we get so beyond AMD lost into our own thoughts it's all of a sudden this imagination fairytale that we think is real. I turned the knob on the cold shower and slipped my clothes off as I slowly walked in the shower easing to the temp. I let the pure water slip over my body and drowned myself into pity.

"ABBIE ABBIE ITS BEEN TO LONG" Madison yelled running towards me and scooped me up into a hug. I was just arriving to jacks because when I was dating Sammy I got to know Madison, jacks boyfriend and we became best friends.
"I know I've missed you mads"
"hey not me?" Jack said walking outside to the front porch of his house with jack j which Madison basically lives at "I feel I was like a brother" he joked.
"You are jack, an annoying older brother" I joked with him back and have him a squeeze.
"Babyyyyy I'm sorry about you and Sammy, he was an ass" Madison said
"It's okay I'm tired of being treated like shit anyways and I actually came here to vent if you don't mind"
Jack g just looked at the ground uncomfortable because Sammy was his best friend ANd he couldn't talk shit about him and I guess I understood. Boy code or something like that right!?
"I would never mind here let's go up to my room" Madison said "to talk I'm private haha"
"Wait your room? I thought this was the jacks house?"
"Ummm, well it's been 4 years and were adults now so we thought we'd take the next step and move in together".
"Awww that's amazing"
I notice her little decorations that used to be at her apartment and the way she decorated the place. It was a big place in fact. I admire there relationship actually because it's so strong and besides all the hate they get they still manage to be one of those amazing strong healthy relationshippped couples.
I explained everything to Madison from me being a side hoe to last night and she understood everything. I knew being with her could make everything better.
"Enough of this sad shit, swimming?" She said
"Agreed but don't have a suit " I sighed.
"Um like you can't borrow one of mine?" She got up to her walk in closet and went to her side of the closet and pulled out a really cute and might I add expensive suit.
"That's so cute" I said taking it "I'll go change"
We were laughing and joking down the stairs until I stopped midway.
"You ok?" Madison asked.
I wasn't. I knew that laugh coming from the kitchen. It was the laugh I heard every might when we stayed up late watching family guy which I thought was dumb but was halaroous to him. And I laughed because I loved the way he loved things. It was sammys laugh.
"Whys he here?" I questioned "that's his laugh!!!"
"Who???" Madison whispered.
"sammys."
"Abbie I'm so sorry I didn't know he was going to be here but you guys do have mutual fiends...your going to have to face him one day so let's start today. Well just walk through the kitchen and you won't even have to talk to him ok?"
"Fine" I trudged all the way downstairs.
We walked through the kitchen and Madison's hand was on the doorknob about to open it until.
"Abbie?"
It was Sammy.
"Um hi' I stammered
"Oh Madison the movers are here dropping a few more things of yours let's go bring it inside" he pulled her away.
"Wait Madison" I tried to say but she was gone.
"Sorry" she mouthed to me. Ugh.
"This morning was weird" he said "I'm sorry to leave like that"
"I don't mind" I said monotone and staring at the floor.
I heard his footsteps walk over to me. "Abbie look me in the eyes"
I did.
"Now tell me you need me like I need you" he grabbed my face.
"Except you don't need me Sammy you made that clear now stop messing with my feelings I don't get what your trying to do here" I said pulling away from his graceful might I add grasp.
"I thought you were better off without me. I was doing it for you ABBIE. I've been in pure hell without you but then jack told me you missed me and I need you. More them the stars need the sun"
"Cheeses but if you mean it Sammy then..."
He interrupted me by kissing me. It felt like sparks even after 6 months.
