They sat in silence for a little while, basking in each other's prescence as the soft waves crashed upon the shore. Vera had also calmed down, her eyes ceasing to leak every time she thought too hard about it. When had she become such a crybaby anyway?

"Vera." Theo said, twisting up his head from where it was perched in her lap to look at her in the eyes. "I know we can enjoy each other's company without doing anything at all, but it's killing me to not go swimming when it's this hot out."

"Hm, glad to see you agree Theodore." Vera's pretty face broke out into a smile, making Theodore laugh at his girlfriend. "You first."

Theo grinned as he got up and started to take off the cotton t-shirt he had on. He was already wearing his black swim trunks underneath. She smiled at him as her eyes drifted down his abs and v-line. As he turned around, the girl took her sweet time admiring his chiseled back muscles as well.

Vera her put her much-too-expensive sunglasses back in their case, not wanting to get them soaked as she also removed her cover-up, which was just Theo's t-shirt. Vera's triangle bikini was dark blue with different shades of blue swirls and patterns all over it. It was pretty low-cut and cheeky and would probably not be approved of by any adults.

Theo was halfway to the water as Vera was getting out of the tee and he turned around and stared at her through the sun.

"What?" Vera called, crossing her arms over her stomach out of instinct as he stared, absolutely mesmerized. "Turn around Theo and get in the water. Quit staring."

"Fuck, you're genuinely the most beautiful girl in the entire world." He said, coming closer to her as he shook his head in disbelief. "Can't believe you're mine." He murmurred, pressing a kiss to her temple as he brought her in for a hug.

"Have I told you how much I love you?" Vera asked, mumbling into his shoulder. "Because your flattery is doing wonderful things for my ego."

"You could do to mention it more." He retorted.

"Well, I love you. And I love the fact that you are total eye candy." Vera said matter-of-factly.

"Hm?" Theo laughed. "I'm eye candy?"

"With those muscles and that face, pretty boy?" Vera took a step back and admired him once more. "Yes, I think I'd say you're eye candy."

"Aw, you think I'm pretty." He looked away, pretending to blush.

"Oh shut up!" Vera laughed, smacking his arm lightly.

Theo pouted at her jokingly, pointing at the water. "Please. Swimming. Now. Otherwise my mind is going to think of everything from this morning again and I do not want to relive that."

"Noted." Vera said, nodding. "Lead the way Theodore."

Theo nodded back, raising an eyebrow. "Okay." He shrugged, before grabbing her by the legs and carrying her bridal style towards the water. He ignored her surprised shrieks and the fast little punches on his chest and grinned as the refreshing water started to make its way up his legs.
