They woke up late that morning. Theo and Vera were adorably wrapped around each other, attempting to escape the manor's chill within each other's warmth.

Vera woke up before Theo and got up to brush her teeth (she had a house elf fetch a toothbrush to her) quietly so that he could sleep for longer. Sometimes she thought that dark circles were forming under his eyes and she got worried for how he slept in his house, all alone. Vera knew he slept enough in Italy because he only slept this well whenever she was beside him, but now she couldn't be sure since he was all alone. Maybe she could convince him to move in with one of the boys, although that may cause more harm than good.

Surprisingly, Pansy was also awake earlier than usual, spotting Vera downstairs. Vera had her legs tucked underneath her as she read her novel with a steaming cup of green tea in her hands. Vera looked up from the book as she noticed Pansy descending down the stairs. "Hey Pans." She shut the book closed, smiling up at her friend.

"Morning V." Pansy yawned, wiping her eyes. "I'm really craving a scone right now." She stared at the kitchens for a moment.

"I'll have the house elves get started on breakfast." Vera promised, an amused smile gracing her pretty face. "Clemmie..." She called out for the elf.

Soon, a spread of delicious brunch was laid out onto the expanse of the Malfoy's dinner table and the smell travelled around the vast manor. The sweet smell of syrup, pancakes, and cinnamon wafted around the house, merging with the savory scent of bacon and sausage.

Soon, everyone started to come down the stairs, smelling the delicious breakfast on the stove.

"Seriously Mattheo?" Pansy groaned as the boy entered the kitchen without a shirt on. He only had on black shorts and socks.

"Put a shirt on, perv." Vera butted in with her signature eye roll before Mattheo could even speak.

"You're the perv for looking. The ladies love me. I'm not sure what happened with you both." Mattheo countered, flexing his muscles.

"Hm. I don't know. Maybe Draco," Pansy gestured towards herself. "And Theo." The girl pointed towards Vera.

"They all sleep without shirts on too. Why should I be punished?!" Mattheo whined dramatically. Salazar, he was returning to himself more and more every single day.

"Yeah, of course we know they don't sleep with shirts on!" Vera exclaimed, looking up from her reading. Then, she blushed wildly when she realized what she said. "Argh! Never mind, just put it on." The girl tossed a sweatshirt in his direction.

Grumbling, the brunette boy obliged, sulking as he sat at the dining table, picking at the walnuts covering a muffin.

Suddenly, she felt a warm embrace from behind her, strong hands twisting around her smaller frame. It was all too familiar and she melted into his touch. "Theo," she sighed, twisting her head to see her beautiful boyfriend.
