Soon, the group had made their way to Diagon Alley, in which they were planning on buying new robes and getting sized for their new uniforms for the upcoming year. However, as rich pureblood teenagers, they would obviously be blowing their galleons on lots of other things.

"To make sure," Draco paused, his pale hands stark against his dark coat that he always seemed to don. "We are shopping at Atelier de Laurent, right?" He spoke his French perfectly, dressing his words with his signature sneer. "I refuse to shop along the riff-raff at Madam Milkin's."

Vera rolled her eyes. "It's Malkin's, Draco." She gestured for him to keep walking as they made their way through the busy streets. "And evidently, considering that we are on the path there as we speak." Lorenzo and Mattheo snickered from behind them.

"Well, you just know everything, don't you Vera?" He retorted, turning towards her with his gray eyes narrowed.

The girl brushed past him rather forcefully before turning to stare at him over her shoulder as she stood beside Pansy instead. "Yes, I'd like to think that I do."

Pansy gripped Vera's arm as she spoke, forcing them to walk a lot father from the boys. The raven haired girl despised whenever they fought, not knowing what to do or who to defend. Although, Draco thought that her walking away with Vera was chosing a side in itself.

"Oh, you're such a fucking--" Draco raised his voice, walking faster to catch up to the girls.

"Hey," Theo said, narrowing his eyes. "Both of you have shit going on and both of you are upset. Everyone is suffering, some more than others. Don't take it out on her." He said quietly, placing a hand on Draco's shoulder. The blond shrugged it off, taking a few hasty breaths. The girls were far away enough that they couldn't hear-- Pansy taking it upon herself to distract Vera with a different topic.

"Fuck you, Theo." Draco spat, his usually handsome face twisted ugly with anger.

Draco had turned a lot meaner to them as the summer progressed. He had always been slightly reserved, less rash when making decisions, and also very snobby, but Draco Malfoy was a reliable friend with ideas on ideas whenever there was any problem. Now, he was quick to anger and rude whenever he spoke.

"Salazar, don't be such a victim." Mattheo drawled lazily, twirling his wand in his hand. "Boo hoo, your daddy's in Azkaban. You know that you could've stayed home today, right?" Lorenzo and Blaise were currently quiet, waiting if they should intervene or not.

Most of them ignored it but Mattheo and Vera got into the most fights with him about it.

"I didn't mean it like that, Draco." Theo turned to look at Mattheo with a stare that could only be conveyed as really? Mattheo shrugged, running a hand through his curls with a smirk.

"Whatever, Nott, just keep defending your girlfriend." Draco mumbled indignantly, closing his eyes as all emotion left his face.

Theodore shook his head in disbelief at the sudden switch, making eye contact with Blaise across the room who was just as shocked.

"Hello Madame Adeline," Pansy greeted, smiling down at the small woman in front of her. "How are you?"

"Ladies, I am well! How beautiful you have both gotten!" Despite the petite woman looking the epitome of elegance, her volume rocketed whenever she spoke, shattering that idea. She had a light French accent, but her words were loud and clear.

"Thank you." Vera said politely, still fuming about what happened prior. She didn't know when but she often felt this anger rise up in her, even if it was unecessary or stupid to get mad at. "Your robes are lovely."

The woman looked at her navy robes bashfully, smoothing out the creases with her stubby fingers. "Well, shall I get you set up with some?" She exclaimed, gesturing towards the racks of clothing.

"We're waiting for the boys, actually." Pansy responded, looking at some of the clothes on the manequins. "If that's alright."

The woman smacked her head, shaking it agressively. Vera gave Pansy a sideways glance to find that her best friend was doing the same. They almost burst out laughing. Had this woman always been this eccentric?

"Of course! Mrs. Malfoy did tell me that the whole lot of you would be joining me today for a fitting. My, I seem to be understaffed. How did I forget?" Her little legs ran to behind the counter where she held a black agenda book. "No, it's right here." The woman was muttering to herself at this point. "My, my, my. Amelia!" She suddenly screeched, causing Vera to flinch. "Amelia! Where is that girl?" Madame Adeline walked to the other end of the store quickly and without warning.

"What in Merlin's name?" Vera asked, taking a seat on a chaise in the corner of the boutique. "How long are the boys going to take?"

"I dunno." Pansy answered glumly, taking a seat beside her. Vera crossed her legs as Pansy adjusted her hair in the mirror.

"Amelia!" It seemed as though she was back. "Elizabeth? Diana?!"

A pop. The girls stood there, holding various boxes of fabric and one even held a whole manequin. "Yes Madame?" A blonde one asked, her hair in a high ponytail. She struggled to hold the boxes. The last girl levitated them for her as the blonde sighed in relief.

"We have an important meeting today with important clientle." Madame's eyes widened as she spotted the boys walk in. "Ah, there they are. When did you all get so big and handsome?"

"You are too kind, Madame." Blaise's grin had the woman giggling like a girl again. She brushed the gray hair that escaped her chignon out of her face.

"I hope everything is alright with the shop." Lorenzo said, nodding down at her.

"Erm yes, why wouldn't it be?" She asked, oblivious, a small smile playing on her face.

"Nothing. We were just making sure business was up to par, considering everything going on nowadays." Theo stated plainly.

"No problem there, dearest." She nodded, her smile twitching slightly. She then was grabbing Theo's arm in her left and Blaise's in the right. "Oh Merlin! We must get you fitted."

"Ladies first?" Blaise tried weakly, bending at an unnatural angle as Madame grabbed him. Pansy and Vera stifled laughter, still sitting on their chaise.
