My heart started beating fast. What does he mean by that? "Wh- what?" Why am I sweating right now? Calm down, Tate.
"Hmm, are you scared of me?" He walked up to me, and I started breathing heavily. "Tate," he calls my name, it was more like a question. And the way he says it, no one says it like that. I'm on the couch, and he's above me looking at me with that smug stuck on his face. It never fades every time he looks at me.
"N-no? I need to go." He laughs as he gets up from above me. I quickly got up and started running until I landed on the exit door.
"I'll drive you." My heels stopped, and my body didn't move. I turn my head, and he's holding his key cars. Who said I'm even going with this grumpy man?
"No, I can go by myself. Thanks," don't ask how I got the nerve to say that. It just slid out of my mouth.
"Huh?" He croaks. I find him now in front of me, so close to me that his breath hitched on my neck as he leaned in and whispered in my ear. "Watch your little mouth, little one." I look up at him through my lashes. He's already looking at me. "Don't tempt me. Get your ass inside the car now." He speaks again with a demanding voice. I nod, not wanting to get into any problems with him because his voice is scary enough.
"Good," he purrs.
"Where do you live?" He asks as he steps inside the car, and I do too. His cologne filled the car, and it smells really good.
"Um, it's away like an hour.." I say with a low voice, I hope he doesn't get mad. I'm sure he'll leave me walk by now because he won't drive like an hour just to take a random girl he met today home.
"Get out of the car." Five words. Exactly five words made my heart sink. The same as the boat when it sinks in the water when she's broken. I knew it, I knew that would happen. It was obvious who would drive a girl home in this time?
I got out and I started to walk away, "Where are you going?" His question surprised me, which made me stop walking.
"You told me to get out of the car," I shrug. He looks at me as he lets out a laugh. It was a rhythm to my ears. His laugh was majestic. It was deep but hot at the same time.
"Tate," he says my name. "That doesn't mean I told you to go home. I said five simple words, get. Out. Of. The. Car." Between every word he pauses.
"So what?" Why am I such a naive girl?
"Tate, get your ass here and stop asking questions." My cheeks flushed red, and I obeyed Royce. I walk to him, he places a small hand on my back and we go inside the house again.
"You're sleeping here," what?
I think I said that too loud. Actually, I thought I said that in my mind-
"Tate, it's already nine, and you're not going home anymore. Text your parents you are staying here. End of discussion, I don't want to hear anything, no buts, no nothing." Woah. Somehow, though, his words kinda of make sense.
"But I don't have any pajamas to wear."
"No problem, I'll give you one for my mother. You both have the same body you can say, and if it's too oversized on you, it's fine it's just for one night. You're gonna sleep in the guests room." I say okay. He gave me a pj, and it was a little big on me, but it's fine it's only this night.
I go to the room, closing the door behind me. I sink to the bed, making myself comfortable as if I were in my home. The sheets were silk, and this bad was really comfortable! I haven't used my phone in a long time, so I decided to text Marie.
