It's been about one month since I've been working in Walton's house. As well, I've also been avoiding Royce as much as I could. He's a bad influence, and I can not let him affect me. We are two different people from two different worlds.

A girl from New york who knows nothing about the mafia world, and a man from Spain. A man from the mafia, the dangerous world, where there's people who kill innocent people for nothing. I don't want to get involved with him. Maybe he got mad, and he did something to me. Who knows?

Getting up from bed, I placed my bare feet on the cold ground and walked to my parents who were sitting and drinking their morning coffee. It's one pm, and I didn't realize I overslept, but it's Saturday, so who cares? Guess I'm not the only one who woke up early this morning because they are drinking their coffee now.

"Good morning," I beam at them, and their heads both turned to me at the same time.

They both say good morning, I sit beside them, and we had a small chit-chat talking about my work and stuff. I told them that they were from a mafia family, and they said that they knew that. I asked them why they didn't tell me, and their answer was so simple and short, "we thought that you knew honey." I didn't give it much attention, so I won't sound dramatic.

I wear my shorts and an oversized hoodie, placed on my shoes, and went to my Walton's house. Sometimes, Carmen would call me or text me that I can stay home because they are all going out for a family trip or something, which I saw it as a cute thing to do. Even though my family loved me as I loved them, we never went out on a trip as the three of us only.

I took a taxi, and on my way there, I was texting Marie, who told me that she needed me ASAP, so when I get a chance, I should call her. I typed okay before the car stopped. I handed the taxi man the money, and I knocked at the door.

I was greeted by Valerie with a giant smile on her wrinkled face. She loves me, and I do, too. She is just like my mother, because she understands me and she's always kind to me.

I also knew something in this house that they have a library, and for me, I adore books. I love the smell of it, I love reading. I even love writing. Valerie said that sometimes I can go there and read a book if I want.

My day was great, you could say. Royce wasn't here, Carmen and Mr Diego were out of town for business, so I was left here with Angela and Valerie. So that's why they hired me as a babysitter? I thought to myself. I don't even understand how they leave her in this house alone with me, even if she has a babysitter!

"Dear, what are you thinking?" Valerie pushed my thoughts when her voice echoed in my eardrum. I look at her with a perplexed face. What should I say? Should I tell her that I'm thinking about Angela? Or about how her parents left the town with her here all alone?

"How did Angela's parents leave the town and left here all alone? No offense, I know that you can take care of her and I'm here too and her brother is also here but.." I stop realizing that all the thoughts I've been thinking about slid out of my mouth.

"Honey.." she starts, but a deep voice cuts her before she goes talking.

"It's none of your business." Royce walks in with a white shirt that is unbuttoned from up revealing his hard chest and tattoos. Valerie only smiled and went out of the salon, leaving us here all alone. Just the both of us.

"I wasn't asking you," his jawline twisted. I look in his eyes and all I can see is anger and frustration mixed as he looks at me like he's a giant wolf who is ready to eat there predator and Royce is like that, looking at me like he wants to eat me and tear me all apart.
