Spencer's POV

I walk towards that lands again, and I wonder if I will have any luck in finding that man this time.

I tried to go further away, but I didn't manage to go far, and being here for this long is quickly proving to be very problematic, because I already saw a hunter, which I killed, and there are a lot of rogues around.

It's a bit weird, because I definitely saw a lot more rogues before I came here, but I never saw this many at the same time.

And I hope that they still didn't notice me, because I'm sure that it wouldn't have ended well for me.

So, I guess that they're here for some reason and that's most likely not a good reason, because I doubt that those humans and wolves will want anything to do with a pack of rogues.

When I reach the taken lands, I look at the woods, in the same direction that the scent is coming from.

I sit on the cold ground, and I wait patiently for the person with the nice scent to come here.

I when I saw him, I got scared that he's a human, so I quickly run away from him, and the guards who were chasing me.

But that turned out to be a bad decision, since he got hurt because of me, so I went to him to try to heal him like my brother did to me when I was hurt.

And I almost managed to make the bleeding stop, but then he got a bit angry, and he put his hand on the wound which was on the back of my head.

It hurt me, but I don't think that he did that intentionally, so I already forgave him.

I stand up when I hear that someone's coming towards me, and I smell the air to see if that's the good smelling man, but his scent isn't any closer that it was when I came here, so I guess that it's another guard.

I start to run away, because I don't want to risk them catching me.

After a while of running, I can hear that they're getting closer, which is weird, because I never known a person who was as quick as me.

I try to speed up, but I quickly realise that I can't run quicker than this, so I start to panic, before I decide to look over my shoulder to see if this person's close or if I'm just imagining this.

It turns out that it's a very big wolf, and he's still a bit far from me, but I can see that his coming closer with every step that we take.

So, my eyes widen, and then I turn my head around to make sure that I won't fall, although I don't really believe that I will live through this.

But it seems that I'm too late, because when I see the ground again, it turns out that I'm a few steps in front of a big branch.

Before I can even consider jumping over it, I feel the pain caused by running into it, and my body falls to the ground.
