Spencer's POV

I go back towards the house with Andrew and his parents, and I wonder if River will ever speak to anyone again.

When we reach the house, Andrew and I go to the living room, but we stop when we see that River's already here.

He's laying on the couch, and he's looking at the ceiling with a sad look on his face.

"Are you alright?" Andrew asks him, and I frown at him.

I guess that he really wants his brother to kill him.

"Who cares?" River asks, and this makes Andrew sit next to him on the couch.

"Everyone cares, that's why we can't let you see Jules anymore." Andrew says and River chuckles, although it's not an amused laugh, since it's full of disappointment, and tiredness.

"I guess that people have a weird way of showing the Omegas the they care about them." River tells him. "Because I really don't feel like anyone cares about what I want." He says, and then he stands up from the couch.

"I'm sure that they would have done the same to anyone else, so the fact that you're an Omegas doesn't have much to do with that." Andrew says, and River just rolls his eyes.

"I know a lot of people who are dating someone who isn't their mate, and I'm sure that Denver knows about some of them.

But I never saw him react like he reacted when he found out that Jules and I are together." He says, and he doesn't wait for a response, before he walks out of the living room and up the stairs.

"Let's go on a walk." I say when I see that Andrew's upset, and he quickly agrees, so we go outside and we decided to just walk around the woods.

We stay quiet the whole time that we walk, because I think that the both of us had enough of talking for now.

About an hour later, Andrew stops, so I look at him with a frown.

"Why did you stop?" I ask him, and he looks at me, before he quickly drags me back into he direction of the house.

"I just smelled someone that I don't want to see right now." He says, so I look over my shoulder to see if I can see anyone.

"I haven't seen you in a long time." Someone says, and I quickly look in the direction of the voice to see that he's standing in front of us.

Andrew doesn't stop, and he just continues to walk, not paying any attention to this man.

The guy just rolls his eyes, and he decides to go with us.

"Why are you ignoring me?" He asks, and when Andrew doesn't respond, he looks at me for a while, before he turns his attention of my mate again.

"I guess that you don't want your new friend to know that we were together, too bad they he knows now. I really don't like being ignored." He says with a slightly glare.

Although I can see that he's trying not to smile in amusement, before he goes away, leaving the two of us alone.

"Who was that." I ask him.

"I'm sure that you can guess that." He says and I nod slightly.

"He's annoying, and that's why I broke up with him a long time ago, but he never accepted that, so I guess that we will have to see him sometimes." He tells me, so I nod in acknowledgement.
