Chapter 34

Spencer's POV

I make sure to smile back, and I'm sure that my fake smile is a lot better than his, because he starts to relax slightly.

"Hey, I didn't know that you're here." He says.

I'm not really sure what's his name, because when Andrew introduced us to each other, there were a lot more people and my mate said way too many names for me to remember.

"I was just waiting on Andrew to come back from school, and I decided to walk around the woods." I say and he seems to believe me.

"Alright then, I'm sure that you want to go find him, he should be back soon." He says, and I nod.

He goes back to his friends, so I decide to go back to the pack house, although I really can't believe that he actually believed me.

Andrew said that I'm a very bad liar, so I really doubted that it will work, but it seems that I was wrong.

Before I can reach the tree line I'm stopped by another man, and I also recognise him as one of Andrew's friends.

"I know that you heard what we were talking about, and I would have beaten you up, but I don't want to get in trouble with the Alpha, so I will give you a chance to avoid it." He says, and I try to tell him something, but he doesn't let me.

"If you will keep what you heard a secret, then I won't do anything to you, but if you won't, then I will make sure that you won't be able to stand straight again." He tells me.

I don't even get a chance to respond, before he quickly walks past me, and back towards his friends.

I don't even know what a secret is, but I guess that I will have to tell Andrew about it.

I quickly walk toward the pack house, to make sure that no one else will want to talk with me, and I wait for another few minutes, before I see Andrew's car.

I walk towards it, and I wait for Andrew to get out, before I hug him tightly.

"Hey." He says, so I greet him back, before I tell him to tell me about his day, which he does happily, even though there wasn't anything much going on.

"I have to tell you something." I say when we finally get back to the house, and he looks at me curiously, so I tell him everything that happened before he came back, and he quickly gets angry.

I'm a bit scared that he's angry at me, but he quickly assures me that he's angry at his friends, and then he tells me to stay in the house, while he goes out, telling me that he has to talk with them.

I reluctantly let him go, and I sit on one of the couches.

At least I know how to turn the TV on, so I can watch a movie while I'm waiting on him to come back.
