Okay you guys, I'm so sorry about this real late update! Q_Q I have summer school and have been kinda busy. I was planning to update last week but that didn't happen so.. ('T_T) I'm so sorry. But I got it done, finally. So, hope you enjoy, and Happy readings!

Chelsea's POV
Because it was already 6am, I figured it would be best to start on my work. I quickly took care of my crops and I went into the barn. My cow Milky mooed as she slowly made her way to me.

"Hey girl.."

I smiled and pet her. I brushed her and milked her like usual and pet her once more.

"You're such a good girl, y'know? Best cow I've had."

I took care of my other animals and I walked out. A dog barked and came running my way.

"Oh..!"

I knelt down and pet it. It was a black dog with pointy ears. I laughed as it tried to lick my face.

"Aww.. What a cutie! Did you run away from someone?"

Vaughn's POV
Mirabelle sent me out quickly to find owners for some pups that her friend had. She specifically told me to ask Chelsea. The dogs were pretty well behaved until I got to the puppy meant for Chelsea. It ran off and I had chase the dog down.

The pup luckily, found his way to Chelsea before I got him to her.

"Hey Chels.. Mirabelle sent me over to ask if you wanted a dog. Her, uh.. Friend had some pups and she can't keep all of 'em so.. We're finding them places to-"

I blushed lightly, realizing that I called her by her nickname. This wasn't the first time I did it. But I was aware it kept slipping.

Chelsea's POV
I was playing with the dog happily, I didn't even realize what he was saying.

Vaughn sighed before speaking.

"Well it seems you both are getting along. I'll guess that means it's yours. What you gonna name it?"

I thought long and hard but couldn't think of a name.

"Um.. Im not sure.. What about Vaughn?"

Vaughn blushed and his eyes widened.

"Any name but that one!"

Suddenly a name clicked in my head.

"Oh! I'll name the dog Mason."

"Sounds like a good name. Well, I'll be off."

I stared at him a bit.

"Eh.. Um.. I guess you're busy, huh?"

He looked down at me.

"No, you were the last person to deliver a dog to since you accepted it."

I smiled and stood up.

"You should stay and play with Mason a bit. He likes you."

Vaughn's POV
I looked down and saw the dog sitting at my feet holding a stick in his mouth.

"Well.. If I have to."

I can't have her know that I love dogs.. Dogs are my weakness.

We went out to Meadow Island and played with Mason. I guess we lost track of time because I noticed the sun was starting to set.

"Hey."

Chelsea looked up at me.

"Yeah?"

Her eyes are so blue.. I swear I could get lost in them sometimes..

"It's gonna get dark soon. Best if we head back now."

Chelsea looked out and watched the sun slowly start to disappear behind the ocean.

"Yeah, you're right." She said as she smiled at me.

We both headed back to Verdure Island and I walked her and Mason back to their house.

I stood at her door step and looked at her. I felt pretty pleased with the day, considering I had some.. Fun.

I didn't realize I was smiling, but I was.

"Hey Vaughn?"

"Mm..?"

"...You look adorable when you smile." She giggled.

I felt my face get hot and my eyes widened, my smile quickly dropped.

"W-W-What are you talking about?!"

I looked away and pulled my hat down to cover my face.

"...I had fun today, Chelsea. See you tomorrow."

I quickly walked away before she had a chance to say goodbye.

Chelsea's POV
I watched Vaughn walk away and I giggled to myself.

Vaughn's so cute~

I closed the door and walked toward my bed then stopped.

I blushed, realizing I thought that Vaughn was cute.

"W-What did I just-.."

I shook my head to try to forget the thought of Vaughn being cute and head to bed.

Ehehehe At least Vaughnie's starting to realize he likes her, and Chelsea's just like "NOPE". Well, I hope I'll start updating a little quicker.. See you in the next part! ^^
