I got up from the floor and got myself ready for another day's work. I hurried with my crops and went straight to the barn. I took care of my animals as I kept getting lost in my thoughts.

What am I going to do.. I can't be falling for Julia's cousin..
Isn't that even impossible? I mean, just look at the guy.

I thought of his face and his body physique.

His shiny platinum hair.. His amethyst eyes..
His smile that he rarely shows..
Tall.. Built body that's strong-

WHAT AM I THINKING?!

I shook my head violently and my face was flushed with embarrassment.

"No. No no no. Noooooo..."

I whined to myself as I sat in my barn, groaning occasionally while I thought to myself.

"How could this happen.."

Julia sneaked up behind me and whispered in my ear.

"How could what happen, now?"

I turned and backed up quickly.

"Hahahaha nothinggggg!"

She knew that was extremely suspicious and smirked.

"Let me guess~"

My eyes widened in fear and panic.

"Please don't, Jules.."

She giggled and got close to my face, her finger pointing at my chest.

"You're in love... With my cousin!"

My face darkened, crimson.

"Wh-Wh-What are you talking about, Julia?! That's impossible-"

She laughed and looked at me.

"I knew for a while now. I hope you realized that. You're really slow. It's obvious he likes you too."

I scoffed and looked away.

"W-Well at least I acknowledged the fact that-
Wait.. He likes me..?"

I looked at her in complete shock.

She looked at me with a "Dear goddess, help me" look.

"Duh.. Why else would he spend so much time with you? It's been a while since you guys met and he's grown pretty fond of you."

I stared at the floor and twiddled my thumbs.

"Um.. Then how come he hasn't asked me out..?"

Julia smiled at me and rested her hand on my shoulder.

"Cause the idiot's not exactly sure what he should do. Just take it slow, I'm sure things'll go as planned."

"...As planned?"

I looked up at her and she turned.

"Well, time to get going!"

I held out my hand to reach out for her.

"Wait, Jules-"

"Byeeee!"

Julia ran off before I could even say anything and left me staring off at where she last stood.

"Wait! Julia!"

I ran out my barn and hit something hard, causing me to fall but this time, I was caught before I hit the floor. I braced for impact and let out a soft "Ah..!"
