"It was amazing. Truly, the best day of my life so far." Richie said, laying on his bed, telling Bev about his day with Eddie.

"So it is a crush, and me Stan, and Mike were right from the beginning." She clarified.

"Guess so." Richie shrugged.

"Do you think he likes you?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"I don't even know if he likes guys. He's probably straight."

"I'm pretty sure he's not straight. He like, totally blushes around you."

"You cant tell, you're a girl who likes guys. You dint have the sense."

"I could." She shrugged and laughed a little. "I'm just trying to be positive. Besides, does he even know you're gay?"

"Not that I'm aware of."

"Exactly, so he could be thinking the same thing you are."

"Don't make me delusional, Bev." He chuckled and threw a pillow at her, she was sitting on his floor against his desk. She caught the pillow, "All I'm saying is to not assume things."

"Yeah, yeah."

"We should set something up with everyone, with Eddies friends." Bev said suddenly.

"We should? We barely know them. I don't want them to think that's weird."

"Clearly they like us, or they wouldn't sit with us everyday at lunch." Bev responded matter of factly.

"Fine. Ask them."

A few seconds later, Richies phone dinged and lit up.

"Beverly Marsh! You made a group chat?"

She shrugged, "You told me to ask them."

"I thought you would ask them at lunch, this is embarrassing."

"It's not embarrassing. You're so dramatic." She replied and started typing away.

Bev M: hey this is bev, we should all hang out sometime outside of school

Eddie K: good idea, as long as richie quits it with the nicknames

Richie T: never

Stanley U: You'll get used to it, Eddie. That sounds like fun, Bev.

Richie T: Yeah lets do that ig

Bill D: Okay! Just set up a time and I'll be there

Ben H: Same, sounds like fun.

Mike H: Definitely, cant wait to meet Bill, Ben, and Eddie :)

Bev M: Thursday after school, the diner

"See Richie, it's not weird. And now we have plans." Bev smiled proudly.

Eddie was in his bed, thinking about the day he had with Richie. He felt great about it. He wanted to hang out with Richie more. He was a little too excited about hanging out with Richie and his friends on Thursday. He even blabbed to his aunt about how excited he was. But he was mostly excited for Richie. It was a weird feeling, he was never even this excited to hang out with his ex boyfriend. To be fair, his ex boyfriend was boring. Richie is far from boring, but Eddie couldn't figure out what his feelings towards Richie meant.
