Eddie was sitting in his room, anxiously. It had been a day since Richie had told him about his feelings. He didn't know what to do. Richie wasn't answering any of his texts or calls. He wanted to talk to Richie, about his own feelings, but he didn't know how. He felt so stupid for running away.

After thinking for awhile, he knew he needed to see Richie. He started walking, when he realized he'd never been to Richies house. He texted Bev and she sent him his address. He walked as fast as he could.

"Mr. Tozier?" Eddie asked as a tall man opened the door to the Tozier residence.

"That's me, how can I help you?"

"My names Eddie, I'm uh- Richies friend. Is he home?"

"Yeah, head on upstairs, first door." He responded with a smile.

Eddie walked up and knocked softly before walking in. Richie jumped, expecting to see his father, but instead seeing Eddie.

"Eddie-" He adjusted his glasses and looked at him.

"Hey, can we talk?"

"Eds, we don't have to. It's okay."

"No, just let me talk." Eddie responded. Richie sighed and nodded.

"I like you too. A lot. I was scared to admit it, and I froze up. I wish I hadn't run off. I've thought about it a lot. I really, really like you."

Richie was shocked, his heart was beating extremely fast. "You like me?"

Eddie nodded, "Do you still like me?"

Richie let out a shaky laugh and stood up, "Of course I do."

Richies mind was racing, he couldn't believe what was happening. It seemed as though everything was falling into place.

Eddie walked to Richie and hugged him tight, burying his face in his chest. Richie smiled and held him tightly, he didn't think he'd ever be more content than he was in that moment.

Richie pulled away and looked down at him with a big smile, "Does this mean we're boyfriends?"

Eddie laughed a little, "I guess so."

"Do you wanna go to the movies? First date?"

"Yeah, that sounds good."

Richie grabbed Eddies wrist and brought him downstairs and out of the house.
