꥟꥟꥟Taylors POV
On the car ride home Taylor immediately googled the name Alexandra but cursed herself when she remembered she never asked for a last name.
When she typed in the name Alexandra a few names popped up, Astor on the top of the list so she clicked on that first. She smiled when the pictures that were on her screen matched the face of the girl she was talking to earlier.
Taylor didn't really know why she purposely backed into the girl. She saw her from across the room and was in a trance. Alexandra was beautiful and she just radiated confidence and power.
Taylor wanted to talk to her, but she didn't know if striking up a conversation with a stranger would be normal so she lightly bumped into her.
And she was very thankful because the conversation had exceeded Taylor's expectations.
Alexandra was intelligent and sophisticated, and Taylor felt like they really related to each other when it came to their personal lives.
She was even more gorgeous up close, Taylor couldn't take her eyes off of her. She also liked the girl's accent and posh way of speaking. She really liked the accent.
Especially the way the silver gown flowed so easily down her tall frame. accentuating the girl's waist and backside, which Taylor had to scold herself for glancing at.
She wanted to know more, so she googled.
She let out a gasp as she saw the first headline under Alex's name.
Her Father had died 3 days ago and she was just made CEO of his company. Taylor would've never guessed her Father had died so recently with how normal the girl acted.
It was a bit absurd to her, but maybe Alexandra just hid her emotions really well.
Taylor then found out her company was one of the biggest, richest ones in the world, now understanding how much stress the dark-haired girl must be under.
Her eyes widened when she saw the girl was only 24.
She found out that the two people who had come up to her were her brother and cousin, who both work with her at Astor Inc.
She also found the fact that the girl had not been in a reported relationship since she was 21, about 3 years ago.
Taylor was shocked again when she found out the girl's mother died in a car crash they were both in when she was 16, right before the family moved the company to New York.
She felt so much empathy for the girl who had lost not one but both of her parents and couldn't help but think about how strong Alex was for acting so normal despite going through tragedy.
Taylor then went to images of the girl, most of them were photo ops for the company or red-carpet appearances.
She loved Alex's business wear attire with her wide range of suits and tight dresses, Taylor lingering on quite a few of those pictures.
