Alexandras POV
Going to Taylor's apartment was a bit unnerving.
She didn't really go over other people's places often and she wasn't exactly sure how to behave.
The car pulled up and she got out, holding the door open for Taylor and then closing it after she exited. They made their way up in the elevator together and then entered Taylor's large apartment.
Alexandra walked in tentatively while Taylor plopped her bag down on the floor and began walking towards the kitchen saying "Make yourself at home. I'm gonna go get us some more wine."
Alex nodded but realized Taylor couldn't hear her, so she told the blonde okay and took her coat off. Just as she turned to walk towards the living room, a grey ball of fluff settled at her left foot.
She slowly gave the cat a small scratch, it giving a slight purr so she easily lifted it into her arms. She made her way to where Taylor had finished pouring their wine, but not before seeing a very large painting of what looked like the cat that was currently in her arms.
"So I'm guessing that I'm holding Olivia because you said she was friendlier, although this cat does fit Meredith's description more."
Taylor looked up as she grabbed the glasses she filled. She smiled and looked away before looking back, giving the brunette an incredulous look "That's Mer, I'm surprised she's not clawing at your face right now."
The brunette just hummed as she grabbed the wine glass Taylor handed to her and followed her towards the living room.
"Your apartment is very nice," Alex said as she took a seat next to Taylor on the couch.
She sat close, but not close enough for them to touch.
Taylor smiled, taking a sip of her wine before placing it on the coffee table "Thank you, I'm actually redesigning the whole thing soon." She mentioned.
Then Meredith jumped onto the couch in the space between them and snuggled herself next to Alex's leg.
"Oh, she definitely loves you." The blonde said, smiling at the interaction.
Alex chuckled "She's cute. Where's your other?"
"No clue. Might be hiding which is weird because she's usually friendlier."
"Is that painting of Meredith that you have over there?" The brunette felt herself asking without much thought, she found the painting to be quite unique, a bit absurd, but unique.
